Beautiful machine. I own one more than 15 years and it is in use almost every day. Original gear box was realy noisy last few years. For lubrication of gear box this lathe use grease instead of oil. Now my lathe runs well with six degree gearbox from motorcycle yamaha 750. It runs so smooth and silent. It is a pleasure now operating on this machine. One of the best in that class. Every single one of thise lathes deseves to be saved and repaired. Sorry about my english! Good luck to all owners of this machines!

The best lathe in its size as far as I'm concerned.
The Hardinge HLV-H is better, but this is pretty good!
I have just bought one. Pretty rusty and tatty but hopefully will clean up well.
