Getting 4 more passing weapons isn't the answer, beefing up the oline and running the ball effectively is the key, lessening 4s throwing the ball is key...
Do you remember when Dallas passed up on a generational player. Thats right Randy Moss made them rue the day they passed him over. DO NOT PASS ON JEANTY! The boys will regret it if they do.
You most certainly need two legit receivers. (To make this offense lethal) Then you add a good RB in round 3. Some really good rbs coming out of the big 12.
They need discipline with a head coach. This team is too inconsistent due to not having a tough, no-nonsense coach. We need a Bill Parcells type coach, plus a new GM. Honestly, it doesn't matter who the coach is, until the front office makes changes in what they are doing, you are going to have a little better than average team and one that falls short in the playoffs every year.
For the 1st round, get a WR like Luther Burdon, or Tight End Tyler Warren, or DE Abdul Carter.-(Abul is 1st selection, if not available, Luther Burdon, if not available then Tyler Warren). Let's pick up Cam Scattebo in the 3rd or 4th round as our RB. Re-sign Dowdle. Then get Shilo Sanders as a Day 2 pick in the 6th or 7th round and hire Deion as our coach.
On the coaching, if the Cowboys stay true to form, they will hire Moore, although that will be a mistake. Moore is not the coach this team needs, they need one that is a tough coach, that is not Moore. Moore is a smart coach, but not a tough coach. Penalties will be the down fall if the Cowboys stay with player friendly coaches. This team needs discipline.
With Lamb as your #1, Burden as your #2 & Tolbert as your #3, you may have the best WR core in the NFL? It gives you top talent, plus depth at the position. And it takes the "burden" off of Lamb as your only deep threat!!
Trade back in the first pick up a 3rd. Bpa 1. Egbuka, banks, or ty williams/grant 2. Savion, mike green, deone walker. 3. Judkins, henderson, neal, cam. Picked up 3rd. Go bpa out of all your position needs. Trade two of your four 5ths for a mid 4th.
Trade back!! Wayyy to many holes to fill.. I would trade back multiple times and just hopefully we can hit at a few different positions like Oline.. Dline.. WR.. RB.. backup QB
Who would be stupid enough to come to the Cowboys; knowing their careers would be screwed by JJ and SJ? Just ask Zack Martin about the lost HOF and Ring of Honor.
@ I think you could maybe stretch for 1 or 2 of those guys. But even someone like Egbuka was anonymous vs Texas. This draft just looks pretty bereft of top end talent.
Burden concerns me. His production plummeted with the same QB as the year before as well as a team that was competitive. Take the DT. Please?!?!Get the kid out of TCU in the 2nd round he can stretch the field (cowboys need that bad) and he has the size to make the contested catch. Take a rb third. There are plenty to pick from.
Burden is short and slow. Not a good combination for Dak and the Cowboys. If a WR is going to be shorter than 6' 0", he had better be quick and fast. That disqualifies Burden. I would rather trade down from #12 into the mid-20s while picking up either a late 2nd rounder or a 3rd and a 5th or 6th. Then draft DE/DT Derrick Harmon, (6'5", 310 lbs, 4.75) from Oregon. Draft Alabama MLB Jihaad Campbell (6'3", 245 lbs, 4.52 40) with that 2nd round pick. Then draft lightning fast playmaker at WR Isaiah Bond, (5'11", 185 lbs, 4.28 40) from Texas with your first 3rd round pick. If Bond is already gone, definitely take TCU WR Savion Williams, (6'5", 225lbs, 4.43 40). Then with your extra 3rd round pick, take SMU RB Brashard Smith, (5'11", 195 lbs, 4.41 40).
The number 12 pick has to be a number one receiver not a number 2 can you 2 read he has to be a number one I think you 2 should find something else to do bc you dint even make sense
5'11 actually IS small for a WR. Dak overthrows smaller players a lot. we need 6'2 plus. I"m out on Burden. Henderson is going to be a bust at RB. He is average at best. He is also small. what is your deal with 5'10, 5'11 players?? both of these players are under 6 ft tall. we have enough small players on the team. we have no size. Henderson will be a bad pick and would continue the 2nd rd bad pick curse.
There is no perfect draft with out Aston Jeanty, cause he can keep the ball out of Dak Prescott hands 30+ times a game, if Dak keeps throwing the ball the Cowboys will continue to be average, so drat a receiver who will get only six targets a game it stupid 😴
Taking jeanty is the casual pick. The rb class is deep af and if you take jeanty you might miss out on a starting wr, dt, lb, and cb In the early rounds
@@nattercakes2384 think about every rb drafted 1st round the past decade. got guys like gurley, saquon, cmc, zeke (, bijan gibbs, etienne (before this year at least) and josh jacobs.
if tight end from penn state is there id take him over luther but ill go back and watch his tape but if i knew we would get henderson in the second round id take either one to pair them with CD...
they need to pick the best available and that’s Jeanty please for the love of god
pick Ashton Genty in Rd 1 and target Savion Williams (TCU) in Rd2
Getting 4 more passing weapons isn't the answer, beefing up the oline and running the ball effectively is the key, lessening 4s throwing the ball is key...
Agreed Dak has to be a way way over paid game manager
Well I will take Ashton Jeanty n Savion Williams out offensive line is good trust me we developed some good lineman they just need a shot
Round 1.wide receiver
Round 2. Running Back
Do you remember when Dallas passed up on a generational player. Thats right Randy Moss made them rue the day they passed him over. DO NOT PASS ON JEANTY! The boys will regret it if they do.
Tolbert took a step but I think he's a really good wr #3
#3 all day
Yeah he's a good slot
I like Tolbert,bt he isn't even a Cedric Wilson or a Patrick Crayton yet...
Tolbert is a solid #4 fringe #3. He’s too inconsistent and drops so many passes nor does he beat any kind of coverage. Hes not a threat in any way.
Jeanty and Savion Williams is a better pair
You guys are a great combo.
You most certainly need two legit receivers. (To make this offense lethal) Then you add a good RB in round 3. Some really good rbs coming out of the big 12.
The Cowboys need juice at OC and HC !
@ everything you say I agree with, but you can forget the new GM till Jerry croaks.
It really sucks that every video about the NFL these days is a gambling ad.
T.Henderson was my #2 RB last year before I realized he wasnt coming out.
This is assuming Dak can throw to Luther accurately. WR are good if their QB is good. Dak is not consistent, this is why RB makes more sense to me.
Man what is you talking about dak can't throw accurately 😂 I heard enough
I am grateful 😊

We don’t have a 4th rounder your just talking at this point brother lol
Taking a wr with prescott as qb?? We definitely need a rb or a lb.
Savion in the 2nd
Either OhioSt WR or Burden Mizz and RB with our 2nd is my wish too.hampton fron NC or Tre from OhioSt...but yes WR next too CDeven TE from Penn st.

D-LINE!!! first round. We can find a starting RB in round 2 or 3. We need another edge rusher badly
Trade back in the first pick up a 3rd.
Bpa
1. Egbuka, banks, or ty williams/grant
2. Savion, mike green, deone walker.
3. Judkins, henderson, neal, cam.
Picked up 3rd. Go bpa out of all your position needs.
Trade two of your four 5ths for a mid 4th.
Luther helps more
Can he add more weight like 220 or 225
Trade back!! Wayyy to many holes to fill.. I would trade back multiple times and just hopefully we can hit at a few different positions like Oline.. Dline.. WR.. RB.. backup QB
If we can’t get jeanty I think we should get a get another wr for dak
I agree with some of y'all , rico was ok but we definitely need another strong running back
Its just not enough of dudes in this draft,!
Its not perfect without a trade down
Facts you can still grab egbuka or another thin position group
Who would be stupid enough to come to the Cowboys; knowing their careers would be screwed by JJ and SJ? Just ask Zack Martin about the lost HOF and Ring of Honor.
if you can't get Luther burden would you still get a WR in round 1 or is this the only candidate for WR2?
There's 4-5 potential first round guys.
Tet, burden, egbuka, ayomanor, and maybe golden
@ at 12?
@ I think you could maybe stretch for 1 or 2 of those guys. But even someone like Egbuka was anonymous vs Texas. This draft just looks pretty bereft of top end talent.
Burden (hopefully with a trade down) and Henderson? I approve this message! Get a DT in three, and sign some free agents on D.
Is he fast
Idk still not sold on Rico he was terrible in goaline
Burden concerns me. His production plummeted with the same QB as the year before as well as a team that was competitive. Take the DT. Please?!?!Get the kid out of TCU in the 2nd round he can stretch the field (cowboys need that bad) and he has the size to make the contested catch. Take a rb third. There are plenty to pick from.
That whole receiving core out of TCU would be fine with me. Get 'em all! Realistically, Savion early and Besh late.
Burden is short and slow. Not a good combination for Dak and the Cowboys. If a WR is going to be shorter than 6' 0", he had better be quick and fast. That disqualifies Burden.

Thats how lies get out Dak saved alot of WR jobs.

We need foot work
In my opinion why does everyone like reco I would like to know
Can't pass on jeanty I say

Who cares guys who they draft? Why even bring it up when they can’t even hired a decent headcoach. It absolutely the worst ownership in the NFL.
if tight end from penn state is there id take him over luther but ill go back and watch his tape but if i knew we would get henderson in the second round id take either one to pair them with CD...
If cowboys draft a TE with second pic they alllllll need to be fired! Smdh
Guy on right…his voice is like a knife in my ear iam out
These people doing all of these mock drafts think too much of Dak Prescott
