amazing video. best of the programming for fmc. i have a message in fms that says key not active. what does it mean and how to clear. i have a flight plan made in little navmap and trying to load b ut it won't load. i get an error message departure airport unknown. but i have loaded airac 1805 latest for this date.

ETE = Estimated Time Enroute not ETA = Estimated Time of Arrival
ETE - It is the amount of time time that you must fly in order to reach your destination.
ETA - It is when you reach your destination, it will be a certain time...that is your ETA.

The Dash 8 uses the default FMS.

How do you make a flight plan?

You need SID, STAR, and Approach charts to plan an IFR flight. You can also use an application like Little Navmap to plan flights.
