Your tip about lighting is bang on🔥
Whenever I take pictures of my graphite drawings, I make sure that the light is not directly hitting my drawings bcz it makes graphite shine.
But when I take pics of my watercolor works, I let the light hit the paper directly bcz it makes the colours look more beautiful. This video is really really helpful.
