Hi @Kyle Bradley. Not sure if you monitor these comments. I was wondering how I would go about getting permissions to use several seconds from this video in an educational outreach (not-for-profit) video we are making about landslides, intended for outreach to Indian locals.
I have a theroy that the Mongolian Death Worm is actually one of these or a flash flood. If you look at it as soon as the beginning goes off screen, would that not look like a giant worm?
Pitty that you don'nt show the mountain above, or try to explain if there is a glacier above or a glacier under the rock, stones and sand which is melting in high summer. Or a pockets of water trapped in the glaciers or the some but covered with rocks stones and sand...which collapsing from time to time...
No rain clouds. Very little snow pack to melt. Where did the water come from???
This is basically the base of Aconcagua which lies 10-15,000ft higher than this area full of glaciers

Yeah you're free to use, especially for an educated purpose. If you want the raw video, please email me at petersonkylej@gmail.com
I crossed that same spot about a week later. We all did as quickly as we could move.
That is not a rock slide, that is a mud/debris flow. There is a big difference between the two.
Looks so dry there .
What is source of lahar?
don't have a heart attack trying to explain that you fucking dork
@@Silentstep66 Seemed like a reasonable thing to point out. You seem to get very emotional over very little. Mommy issues from your past ?
@@tommyroche9142 I like horses
There's no water in that.

Pierre Zufferey well actually I have a 15 min video of me climbing the tallest mountain in the Andes, Aconcagua which rises to 22,841 ft/ 6960m
Thanks for sharing.
The pack-horse on the opposite ridge is strangely attracted to the action.
wow..... very nice very best natural amazing runing river
"I didn't touch anything!"
Kyle, there's another video (th-cam.com/video/Oaql7xL1roQ/w-d-xo.html) of what looks like the same thing. Was that your group?
That's quite peculiar, the way it seems to come out of nowhere.
Porque se ocasiona esto?
Esto se debe a la fusión de los glaciares.
@@Survey_gos : Muy buenas tardes. 🙂🙂 Ese mismo tipo de material, sería el que sepultó a Yungay, hacia 1970????? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I'll have to remember to bring my life jacket next time I go there, just in case, you know what I mean ;-)
Liquefaction Yes ? No?
No ... just a rock fall down a channel ...
Possibly fluidization, though ...
Ran out of film?
I may have another 30 seconds of film but the crew wanted to continue our 20mile hike out to civilization after being on the mtn for nearly 3wks.
Gotta feel sorry for the guys who just finished digging out that trench :)
Hence the smiley face
Odd to see those on sunny day.
Not a rock slide......it's a debris flow!

That is insane! you probably felt that through the ground!

Oh schist!
Well, I think it's gneiss, but don't take it for granite.
