I have been learning from your FnO videos. Herei have one point to raise here. Since these are cash secured puts, we need to keep the cash required for the delivery too just in case the price falls a lot. Taking the same example, if Tata motors falls to 280 while the 300 put was sold at 10rs, effective delivery price would be 2850*(300-10)=8,26,500. If we don't take the delivery when price falls we will be in loss. If we take the delivery we need to have such big amount in hand. So ideally since the amount should be liquid with us for delivery, we should calculate the return on the delivery amount instead of basing it on put selling amount, isn't it? If people like me enter the trade without the delivery amount at hand, they will be in huge risk.
Yes! 200% True. I apply this strategy every month, faced this issue lot of times & I keep enough money in my trading account so I can manage, otherwise it will be as hard as you say. This should be mentioned in the video.

For me it's not possible to monitor market always, so was worrying about weekly options and adj (Straddles n strangles).
This video impressed me much with ur title. Many times we all feel "arey some stock baga perigindi... Ee price lo buy chesi untey bagundedi ani... OR some stock long time tarwata long time support daggarlo undi but doubtful unnapudu".
So i tried to apply this for LUPIN Oct first week after few days of this video.
I assumed 900 is good support, so sold 900 pe when it is trading at 960+.
But when stock backing to 940 felt little scared.. closed position in a marginal profit somehow and next took 880pe.. closed and again mid of Oct i held onto 860PE. Closed in good profit. But badly Lupin due to bad results, stock reacted lately that day, felt lucky as closed position already.
Few things I observed, as days r passing by margin required increases like u mentioned in vid. Expiry week minimal profits kosam ee strategy follow avochu emo anipinchindi.
