I saw a job advertisement for an "Integration QA Specialist/Analyst (offshore)" with the following responsibilities: • Works closely with cross-functional teams to determine and document system business needs and determine optimum computer automation support to satisfy those needs. • Collaborate with internal customers, technical and architecture teams to design Use cases and identify gaps. • Write unit/integration test scripts and provide support during user acceptance testing. Participate in interface design & data mapping working sessions. Now, of course I pasted this into ChatGPT followed by "Explain like I'm a teenager" lol. But I'd love to know your opinion on how different this is from a regular QA position, especially since this one's offshore.
@CupidSkullOpen This looks similar to an SDET position with hands-on experience in software development. That would be a higher career step on a QA ladder.
