In the past two weeks I have listened to this around 100 times , the more I am listening it again and again the more I am liking it. As beguiling and moving as when I first heard him and his group sing in the late 80’s, 90’s. I remember attending a performance of Indian classical music in London, when the news came through that he had died. This was 1997. How wonderful that these recordings are there to bear witness to his immense talent and faith. Here we are in 2022 and his voice still generates a sense of peace and hope in this much troubled world. Rest in Peace great one!
