In many cases, it is necessary to obtain the maximum strength for gluing a part or a surface. In this video, I check whether super glue should be combined with baking soda or other powders
What was important in this video? First, when the super glue reaches the surface of the powders, it is easily absorbed and spread evenly. We had the worst performance in the combination of super glue and turmeric, and the best performance was related to salt and baking soda. In this part, the reason for the rapid absorption of super glue and salt was the presence of large salt grains. But if we want to choose between salt and baking soda, in my opinion, baking soda was much better because it absorbed all the super glue.
But to test the strength of super glue, we saw that the combination of super glue and turmeric broke easily due to the lack of proper mixing. After removing the wood, it was the combination of charcoal and super glue that broke. But the best performance was salt and super glue along with baking soda and super glue. In this video, we can see that super glue and baking soda are hit harder, but this combination is much stronger and more stable.
