They do give you real juice and chips. But that is only when after 2 hours flight time is confirmed. If in next 1 hour there's no flight you get free meal also after this. Has happened to me. My flight was 8 hours late.. after 2 hours I got frooti and chips and after half and hour I was provided with proper dinner Thali. Yummy also 🤭

One time we were given accommodation at a really good hotel for a delayed flight. And then budget airlines happened and the luxury was taken away out of the equation.

I said ALL OF THIS to Indigo when they had taken 35k for a flight from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar via Hyderabad & BECAUSE of their OWN connection delay, they stranded my senior citizen mother at Hyderabad. FOR THE NIGHT And, DID NOT offer hotel accommodation or food. They offered only a flight back to Mumbai/ one to dest NEXT DAY with no food & no accomodation
