    That was a great little build, you have doneva excellent job, I would have thought that there would have been a bit of rusting on the active duty machines, as I would thinknthe steel quality would have not been that hign, bedt regards from Australia

    They used a red-brown primer. We used zinc-chromate. It is a funny looking green. Most of the German satchels were gray like the uniforms.

      Dang!! Grey would have been better for more contrast!! I wish I would have seen that in my research. I didn't spend enough time on thT
