Hi. Visited Vadakkunathan temple few days back. below points are good to remember. Woman can wear saree, chudidar type traditional wera. Men can wear pant or panche etc but nothing on top. Better always wear some traditional wear like pache. Temple closing time is 8.15pm. There is clock room where you can keep small bags. But if you have big luggage, railway station is is with in 1km. YOu can keep the luggage in the clock room and come for darshan. We can walk from station and come to this temple. around 1km max. there is paid AC waiting hall in the railway station. so if someone is travelling via train, they can use waiting hall and clock room and roam around these temples and come back to the station and catch their train. if someone planning to go to Guruvayur, there are frequent buses takes around 1 hour 30 min to Guruvayur from Trhrissur bus stand.
