Greetings Gravitycure amigo ;^) ♪ If I wasn't so much focused on other content and infos I'm currently working on, I would have at least another 4 to 5 Steely Dan tutorials added to my channel's selection.♪ Producing tutorials requiring 11 hours of work per minute of animation shown. If I don't learn them in-depth through the process, I' 'll never learn them. (Lol..).♪ It all goes simultaneously, practicing, listening, and animating colored dots sometimes (12 movements per second (saxophone solo for example)) that I have to meticulously position in synch with the music and how I play them over the fretboard during my filmed performances. I honestly want to know them by heart in the end. But like anything, especially with Steely Dan, if you don't practice them regularly, they're easy to forget. ♪ That's why I did this channel too, so I have my references at the tip of my fingers when needed. But civilly, allow me to explain my perspectives.♪ As I was researching on the internet how to go about producing this great song in my tutorial format, I didn't find much, other than live performances where INDEED Jon Herrington (TOP-GUN Guitarist) has his CAPO set at the third fret.♪ For that matter on live performances, Jon Herrington somewhat sacrifices himself, playing that non-stop guitar riff, with (undeniably) his E string drop to D, enabling him to pluck that very predominant low F note within the riff.♪ (BTW, Walter has no CAPO (Lol..!), and he's a big part of the song ) ------------------------------ I purposely created my channel (with the help of Steely Dan), for folks to learn their song, yes, but also (and particularly), for folks to discover and learn unusual guitar chords and progressions, which at the end of the day, will improve their guitar skills, and musical knowledge ♪ ------------------------------ Life is about trade-offs, therefore I managed to animate the guitar riff, on a different position, namely with the CAPO at the first fret, without altering the guitar tuning (not forgetting the song is so F guitar chord (and bluesy) oriented), so I can animate the guitar chords progressions with more accuracy and options as well.♪ ---------------------------------- At least (IMHO), as the only (complete?) TH-cam tutorial lesson on this song, I think I've paved the way, for other content creators, to create even more accurate lessons of this great song, which is in honour of Donald Fagen's mother who passed away from Alzheimer's complications, and that left Donald very saddened, questioning the god narrative.♪ The best is yet to come, sir.♪ Peace, kind regards + respect ;^) ♪ .

Hello there, my super Andrés Concha amigo ;^) ♪ I tend to agree, but I have a big affection for the song *Everything Must Go*, too, Always tough to choose, Now I tend to put my favorite in groups of ten, meaning if I can be confident to justify a song as being part of my top-ten favorite, they're all pretty much my favorite songs. And for those in the top twenty, not much difference there.♪ I think there are some songs I can listen to more than others without getting sick of them, and for those I prefer less for that reason, are mainly in the earlier production of their career, like for example *Reeling in the Years*, Do It Again* and a few more. The older stuff really fits, and stimulates my musical preferences. ♪ (IMO) The array of all these ELITE musicians they've hired makes the musical experience a super thing.
