This a being a CW show. It’s so funny when you think about it. The fact that the CW had a gem of a show like Nancy Drew it also had Riverdale. What does that say?
I totally agree, I was complaining about that every episode during season 4! If only they had broken the curse sooner than we would have had more time seeing them as a proper couple! But of course the writers didn't want to give us that until the last episode! Very aggravating! Also those stupid side romances for both of them were not needed or wanted!
Okay, but they deserved more beautiful cinematography for this scene. The actors hit it out of the ballpark, but the lighting team needed to give them more. Nace deserves everything. Everything! And so do the fans.
This scene actually was extended. The run time just didn’t allow for it. It was like a 6 minute scene including Ace dipping Nancy. I really hope they release it one day ;-;
I love the symbolism in the flashlight remaining on because the curse is broken verses the time when Nancy told Ace about them being cursed and the flashlight light goes off.
And they all lived happily ever after.... but, as we all know full and well, the weirdness was NEVER gonna stop. Goodbye Horseshoe Bay, the Claw and all of the 'gang'. You'll be missed.
@@nataliarodarte6368 I read an article that Yana Grebenyuk wrote and posted on Twitter (X). Yana did an interview with the producer's... telling her they had originally planned like a 6-minute Nace scene.

I agree considering it was the last time we would see them together like that, and I wanted a love scene too!
