So that's how you are supposed to play in High-sec. I knew I was doing it wrong back when I still lived there. Really nice gameplay, and awesome kills. (Oh and btw, we danced on an ESS grid a few days ago. A blingy Loki that slipped away)
Vampire Proteus. Nice. The same trick should be possible with triglavian and blood raider ships. If you catch them in a mission you probably don't need any dps at all, the mission rats will kill them once you neut off the active tank. A passive shield tanked rattlesnake would be immune to this though. You can kill an armor tanked mission running battleship with a frigate this way. Never tried that on a marauder, though in theory that should work too.
Most passive Rattles still use Active Shield Hardeners - those CAN be shut off with neuts. Severely reducing their effective regen, allowing Cruiser DPS to smash through. Honestly, two medium neuts are more than enough to shut off most tank. You don't even need neut bonused hulls for that. I personally use a Blaster Proteus with 2 Mediums, and it works wonders. Best part - since it's a blaster fit, most people don't expect they need to handle neut pressure, which makes for a much more potent bait compared to Blood Raiders, Trigs or Amarr Recons, which everyone knows for their neuting provess or ramping damage. As for frigates - yeah, they work on paper. In practice, you might struggle to survive Rat or Drone DPS, to actually stay on grid long enough. Coupled with lackluster DPS that can allow your target to manage even under neut pressure - they become good only against total scrubs. And if it's total scrubs you're hunting, you can probably bait them in something much more potent, without exposing yourself to unnecessary risks. In theory, frigates would allow you to bait even the most careful of carebears, but unless you know their fits and can counter-fit accordingly, you will struggle to make frigates work effectively. And if you're relying on specific counter fits already, might just as well use T1 cruisers instead for much more potency.

Its a loop hole. If you shoot containers in HS you only go suspect. Then you need to hope that the other pilot will shoot you. Only then can you fight back with "zero" consequences.
It's a decision point mechanic. He shoots the MTU, which is apparently legal in HS, and the target pilot makes the choice to engage a pilot with suspect timer. Sad thing is, these boys flying these high priced loot boxes don't have enough brains to realize from the word go that a T3 pilot shooting your MTU has already decided that you will die.
@@babbl447 How does he not manage to apply with two TCs in the lows and a dual web fit? is a single TD enough to really do that much or possibly skills lacking?
Well I was going to sub but then I saw the other ships didn't have PvP fits, so you bring guns to a game of darts and you think that's cool when it's lame!

Great video, makes me want to try that out in the Winter Nexus
yeah, winter will be harder tho because people will focus more on tracking i think but i will probably try it again aswell.
Good Prot video
thank you sir
Maybe this is a Dumb question, but how do You engage in hs, concord no help the guys, why?

Nice kills, protty for the win! Btw could you please tell the names of the music you used? Killing marauders is 10x better with sick beats :)

there you you
Just a suggestion, maybe a smartbomb on that prot to catch pods ? They can have a lot of implants hehe
you need a lareg sb to oneshot pods, cant fit that to this prot sadly.
Not a bad idea tho
And in hisec a smartbomb can hit stuff you don’t intend, and then concord gets involved…
How are you getting away with this in HS. Where is concord
Karma will always get you :)

sick with it 🔥
Subbed epic fight. glad it wasn't me =D

Golem without 2.5-3k dps?
He doesnt apply to me as i have a guidance distruptor and I am sigtanking with my 10mn.

whats the fit?
