I know the Bolero by heart, every note and tempo, each crescendo and chord. This is one of the finest interpretations I have every heard! Bravo! This almost brought me to tears! Thank you!
Listen "papi chulo".. what goes around... comes around.. is Karma all over again and again... relax. This is good.. thank you .. so much. I love Bolero by Rabel... is the most beautiful piece of the arabesque/gypsy melody ever. thank you .. again.
All I can say is WOW! Fantastic! @rocktober...I know what you mean; @kmk818...you lucky sucker! One of my most memorable moments was watching Miss Nancy Wilson performing her song "Fireworks" live in Lake Tahoe, with video of fireworks perfectly synchronized, would love to have seen this one...I think I'll go cry now.
this group is fantastic......the types of music and with the various orchestras they perform with is just amazing......you need to catch them in concert.
OOOMMMMMGGGGGGOSH! Leave it to Pink Martini to add an even more exotic Latin flare to an already romantic piece! Gorgeous arrangement and impeccable performance. Lovely accompanying video!

I'm a great admirer of the era of these stars, MANY THANKS indeed for this beautifully constructed, very very well presented post. If you intend to do any more in a similar vein, I would be instantly back, to look, see and hear such excellent work. WELL DONE!.

ANGELA PEREIRA th-cam.com/video/RCVtgkWiMoY/w-d-xo.html this is a Tunisian song from my country. It’s melody is a bit related to this amazing song. What a match ! Music is an inspiration! Please if any one listen to it tell me your idea.
Thanks One Gift...Feel pretty good about guessing Talula. Most people don't know her unless older. I'm such a old movie buff, saw her on I Love Lucy years ago. My friend in Scotland sent me the info about Pink Martini. Never heard of them and I've lived in Seattle for over 35 years. He's coming over next month and wants to see them. K
Thanx so much for posting this beautiful video. This rendition is out of this world!! Love it!!! I miss the days when we had real movie stars. Thanx for sharingTemoinsGirl (Eli)
I know the feeling. Glad to help out a fellow Torontonian. I really love their rendition. So unique from the tradition version. BTW, they are coming to Thomson Hall this June
@dinoDOTamino In the first edition of the first Pink Martini CD "Sympathique" there was this version of Bolero from Ravel. But after that edition the Ravel family didn't renew the license. This is now a rare piece of an extraordinary and enyojable performance, even if not in the "pure" classical form.
this was my dad's favorite piece of music. Brings back memories of listening to it with him and talking about the images it evokes. I also think your choice of photo portraits is absolutely spot on. Pink Martini with classic women of the screen from days gone by? What could be better. +
I'm always impressed when contemporary pop artists can reinterpret classical music and add something unique to the rendition. Bravo!
This rendition is sultry. Bravo.
This explains so much about Cadeuces Clay
and now i'm picturing a tavern where they're playing this and there's a pink-haired firbolg in the corner sipping his tea...
that's nice
Memorizing arrangement! I first heard Bolero while watching Torville and Dean skating in the 80's.
I know the Bolero by heart, every note and tempo, each crescendo and chord. This is one of the finest interpretations I have every heard! Bravo! This almost brought me to tears! Thank you!
I saw this live. This song alone made it the best performance I ever witnessed.
Glad I'm not the only one here for Talesin
taliesin?
The best part of critical role!!!
Here to get in that Caduceus Clay mindset
For my breathtaking Christine who brings me joy and peace.

A perfect rendition of a classic. I never get tired of this version
Whats the name of the original classic?
It is called Bolero. By Ravel.
Beautiful arrangement of the classic -- perfect accompaniment for the classic photos of old Hollywood.
We saw them the other night from the front row and this is the song they opened the show with. It was so powerfull. I wish they had it on an album.
I heard them play this live in Seattle years ago. I believe they opened for Sky Cries Mary. This song melted my brain. So glad it's here!
Perfect to drink corpse-tea to, and also contemplate whether you've met a ghost you don't want to punch.
DnD gets me to places I never knew I would visit. Today I am visiting the head of Taliesin
This song manages to make me cry every time.

maria felix woooooow!!!! so beautiful!!!
¡Estupenda ejecución!
Stupendous performance!
This is a beautiful version of one of my favorite songs. Thank you.
Parabéns pelo video Theonenight. Excelente interpretação do "BOLERO" !!!
Just remembered this is Ravel's Bolero in the movie "10" and Bo Derek, Wow. Well done, thanks.

Pink Martini absolutely rules. I've seen them 3 times in concert, and hopefully 3 times more! Of course, you can't beat Bolero.
Evrika!!! The first version of BOLERO that doesn't bore me to death. Excelent!
