Hey girl hey, First I want to say you are so talented and you are so kind. I am also saving up for self care. I do a little bit of self care each day. Sometimes it's just sitting in a quiet space for ten minutes or find a quiet space and color. Lol. But currently I am on 'poor girl self care'. I go to the dollar store and get a face mask or two and do my own pedicare. while the masks are 'cooking'. Never put yourself in the 'back burner'. Be kind to yourself. Whatever makes your heart happy is self care.
I live the “poor girl self care” life too! I like the idea of finding a quiet place. I am hustling everyday all day and I’m feeling the burnout. I want to course correct before it’s too late. I feel like “me” comes super last to “mommy” “daughter” and “partner” titles.
Hey chica 🌺 The everyday binder was created out of lack of space in other binder/savings challenge themed days... I needed to save for specific items and not general categories and this was the only way I could get what I needed saved for and I don't want to use the sinking funds for it LOL

Dad and I had a bunch of emergencies hit one right after another and I think (Hope & pray) that we’re finally coming out thing other side of them now. Because of all that, I pretty much had to pull everything I had back in October and go back to the robbing Peter to pay Paul way of things (ironic since Paul is my dad’s name. Lol). I was finally able to sit down this weekend and get my new 2025 books and challenges that I started ordering back in September organized and started. Slowly, but it’s a start! And since we are now short staffed again at work, I’m about to be working 6 nights a week again, I’ll be able to do a bit more than the last 5 months or so. Who needs sleep, after all, right? 😂 you can’t tell I haven’t had any - I’m rambling. Lol so I’m gonna stop now! 💜💜💜

But the shines silver lining is that you had it saved and available to raid… but that being in immense credit card debt. So I say the process worked just as intended. I will see what it take/cost to replicate the Wren box. I have so much new stuff pending that I am a little tapped out. 🤪🤪🤪 I have more ideas than I know what to do with!
@ yes! I am SO thankful I had the money saved! I don’t have have any credit cards (not good for me - long hard lesson to learn and working on paying the last of that lesson off). We’ve had to use dad’s a couple times, but I’ve always been able to give dad the money as soon as I’ve gotten paid! It hasn’t really been robbing Peter to pay dad - more like extreme paycheck to paycheck. Ugh. So ready to get back to having a cash buffer on hand and turning that into a *true* emergency fund. And if my extra hours don’t last long enough, I see a part time job in the future for me to go along with my full time one as well as taking care of dad. Just the way life is at the moment. I think I’ve got a box similar in size to the one you used for your Wren box - when I get home from work in the morning I will have to pull it out of the kitchen cabinet and put together a not-as-cute-as-your-Wren-box Wren box of my own. I’ve been trying to figure out how I was going to organize them so I could use them and that really is the perfect set up! But, speaking of sleep and work, I guess I should try to get a nap. I’ve got to be up in two hrs to start getting ready for my midnight shift. Ugh. I love working overnight, but when it’s in the 20s on my way to work? No thanks! 🥶🥶🥶
I'm starting a month ahead binder this year, but I'm not putting a timeframe on it. Ideally I'd love to finish this year, but if I don't that's okay too.
Love your wren box! With all the cards I want, imma need to make one too! 😂 the car one I need. Figured out the car I want but it’s like 45k new. 😅 but Subaru will pay some towards modifications, as far as hand controls or ramp/wheelchair lift so it would help! 😁 nice start to the year!🎉
