How to Prime a Canvas for Alcohol Ink Art

Prep a canvas with me for ink.
First you’re going to paint your canvas using @kilzbrand primer - I use the premium interior primer - it’s important that whatever primer you use is water-based or you run the risk of your canvas yellowing over time.
Slap on two thin coats, wait for each coat to dry (about an hour).
Now we’re ready to sand - I use 150 grit, then 400 grit and finish the canvas off with one more layer of the primer.
Now you’re set! My preference is to still have some texture, but you can increase the coats of primer depending on your goal.
