If you want a list mapping the numeric file names to the font names look under the .c folder for the file entitlements.xml. Each font is represented by a element with and child elements that give the numeric file name and actual font name for each font respectively.

For Pc Users:
The folder is located in the Path:
C:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync\plugins\livetype
It's essentially the same as the video. Go wild.

I've never had this issue before but Apple in their wisdom have recently changed to not allowing access to fonts installed via Adobe Creative Cloud (in apps like Pages or Final Cut Pro. This is really annoying when opening up legacy projects requiring amends. Your tip has saved the day!

Thank you so much. Got the fonts on my MAC following your instructions. For Windows somone in the comments gave the path which I found. However the fonts showed without the .otf. But I copied and saved and renamed it with the font name.otf and it worked. Thank you again.

Thanks for this quick easy guide.
I am like you working across many Apps and need the fonts to be consistent. Adobe's suite can not do everything, nor do everything optimally. They are good but sometimes you have to work to your own or customer's requirements.
To find the particular font you are looking for and get its name:
Select a font : cmd opt i
This shows the Information Panel for the selected file, but it sticks so you can scroll up or down using the cursor keys to get info on any file.
You can copy and paste the font name from the Information panel to the file.
Now to find out how to get the Illustrator guide that doesn't perpetually choose the iPad version despite I am on a Mac. Adobe can be exceedingly frustrating, another reason I use other Apps that do a better job. I'd like a pdf version of the User Guide so I can access it on the road, also its easier to find info with a book like organisation and index, than the rubbery online html versions.

Strangely I don't have a blank file with hidden folders. Inside the LiveType folder, I have 2 other folders called customhook and livetype.framework, I don't have the .r anywhere, is anyone able to help with this? Thanks!
