Hi Sandra! I don’t have any Parrot polish and I don’t want thermals. I’ve seen dozens of videos on different brands from different content creators. Kelli Marissa does polish reviews and quite frequently there will be a few thermals. She says that they change throughout the day when she’s doing various things around the house. She has a nail length about the same as you.
When I buy a polish I want it for the color I’m buying. I don’t want it changing. Also, they stop transitioning after a period of time and you don’t know if they ‘die’ in the warm or cool state. They’re just gimmicky to me. How well they transition also depends on the color you have. I’ve seen them go from hot pink to sheer, purple to pink, etc. Hope this helps!

The thermals from Emily de Molly are amazing they change a lot but my hands are always warm

Not a thermal fan. I also wear my nails fairly short, and haven't found one that works really well on me. The nail bed is just too close to the temperature of the free edge to get that dramatic change. It's more like a lighter or darker sliver right on the tip and not necessarily consistent across all the nails, which then just looks funny.

Thanks, good to know I'm not the only one.
