Complete History of Myanmar (Buddhist): History of Buddhist Religion

  • The 11th century was a difficult period for Buddhism in South and South East Asia. The Buddhist stronghold in Afghanistan and North Western India was already lost to Islamic invaders. Buddhism was heading to complete decline in its birthplace, the Gangetic plains of India. The Andhra region in the South of India, the last stronghold of Theravada Buddhism in India was lost to Hindu Shaivite Chola Empire, while Sri Lanka was already under their rule. The South East Asian Buddhist nations were also under attack from the Chola and Khmer empires.
During these difficult times, two great kings stand out who played a major role in reversing the decline of Buddhism. The first was the King Vijayabahu of Sri Lanka. The second king was the King Anawrahta of Myanmar. Eventually, Myanmar became one of the centres of Theravada Buddhism and played a significant role in the development and spread of Buddhism in the world.

I really appreciate this documentary . This one will bring out many facts for people want to savor about Buddhism's eventful journey. In this video, you can get illustratious evidences and how people get spiritually, physically inspirations. Then we say the word ," Welldone " , three times after someone did good deep to get merit.
That's called ecstasy. That's our reverence to Lord Buddha. That's our exultation. I'm proud of being a Buddhism. Discovering something you're interesting is precious. Thanks for sharing about Buddha with this video. May all beings share my merit. Love from Myanmar 🇲🇲

Wow, what an insightful video on the complete history of Myanmar and the Buddhist religion! I've always been fascinated by the rich cultural heritage of Myanmar and its strong Buddhist roots. It's amazing to learn about the challenges Buddhism faced in the 11th century, but how it managed to persist and shape the region's history. Thank you for sharing this informative and well-presented video!

Do you know when BangIadesh formed, their army sent people from prisons to Chittagong Hills to cleanse natives and other faiths:
Kaukhali-Buddhists were called to the town to talk about rebuilding their temple, instead all were massacred
Matirang-tribals forced into jungles and were trying to escape to neighboring countries, all attacked as leaving
Logang-man attempts to rape two girls and a man defends them, instead the attacker told the army he did blasphemy and they burned all their villages
Malya- boat was exploded and drowned, ones reaching the shores were attacked by the locals
Today they’ve reached the Himalayas. Imagine being iIIegaI and joining local separation groups.
Lived with it for thousands of years, no amount of bending over will help. Western only say this because of poIitics but know the biggest threat to democracy, 9/II was a forever impact and fyi got what it wanted accomplished, capitaIism has enough for now and even responsible for feeding terror with monopoly, also don’t have oldest recorded histories or cuItures it constantly aims to convert, will forget and turn the page in history books the same way. Are also guilty against natives, your ancestors secured your place and none would genuinely give up, many today instead fetishize others but at the end of the day still about power and attention.
The root is hatred of others, simply read the texts, not the same, one is for conquering and the other inner enlightenment. Targeting those that follow humanity first, spirtuaIs have always been manipulated. Why don’t call it out? Set the standard low. Literally anyone else in its countries have every move suppressed and just breathing triggers, there’s literal sIavery in the GuIf, do you know how many nation have shariya, it literally states other faiths are not accepted, apostasy is capitaI punishment, spouse must convert, children are automatically a part of the pact, yet pact stays quiet and like all socios make the most excuses.
I’m not one but tolerance doesn’t mean accepting intolerant and should know basic survival which most are bad at and wait for the next lifetimes. The dupIicates act more extreme and think are better. It’s like rubbing salt on wounds of ancestors or mocking history, even taking their voices when the cuIprit is finally exposed with the help of the media trying to hide, neutralize and counter for their payout. Don’t know the full history and where were they then and history is just repeating itself, the definition of minority in the west is former that were ensIaved and in the east left over invaders.
