@@audiotoolshed mixes haven't changed? These overpolished superloud mixes of 21st century with the overuse of gear or plugins like distressor or antares compared to 20th century, well, for me a big difference with regard to music, arrangements and mixing style.

New Fangled has a discount on this right now, but there’s an even further discount on that discount if you own any of their other products. You can log in to their site to see your price. Nice!
This plugin is revolutionary@@!! Tested it on 4 mixes and it definitely added something very new. This plugin might change how music will sound in the next years. I hope the time of artificial clean static mixes is over now, it's time for some dirt@@!!
Great video! Newfangled Audio has some great tools. I use the Saturate plugin on almost all my busses to bring back some of their life after compression.
@@audiotoolshed Very moderately, no more than 2-3db of drive, maybe -1db of clipping. After that I'll add some broad EQ for emphasis. It's a learning process for sure!
It’s nice to see a new take in a comp/lim/sat plugin over the classic copies of analog gear! An interesting plugin for sure. Thanks 🙏 for the review and unlike the farmers, the dogs eats everything including your cpu cycles!
Had to grin after the "Wat een boer niet kent dat vret ie niet" comment, since I watch this in my studio placed in a farm/barn located in the middle of the region where this pronunciation is coming from.. (Being the exact opposite though) But then I mentioned your studio is 30 km from here, lol ^^ Well, that explains.. :')
It sounds more like a bit crusher. Every direction you moved the grid in made it sound worse. But not bad in a good way, like you were totally destroying it, it just sounded bad quality. I like their saturate plugin on the master channel but not sure I'd have much use for this really.
That manual !! Maybe they should get someone whose first language is English to do a proper Proof Reading of their pdf manual. There I was trying to understand the workings of Invigorate and right where some of the salient points are, there are grammatically nonsensical sentences.
Yeah i noticed a bit of a Cpu usage and latency with all Newfangled Plugins... i didnt really look into it but it might have linear crossovers? Just loading up NFSaturate compared to any other clippers i have uses up more juice omy system. But i like how it sounds at the time so i deal with it :D
Yeah this one is not multiband, so checking crossover will be a bit pointless. If it’s good, it’s good! Seems like more plugins are becoming more cpu heavy. Need to look into that.
@@audiotoolshed I know it's not multiband but those 3 pre and post filters could add up some latency depending on their crossover type. I'm gonna read a manual when I get home today. Its a cool plugin. 😎😁
Well I know that Xeons aren’t necessarily the best choice for a daw, but who knows. Fact is that my 3 year old ryzen 9 3900 does about 4% on cubase’s performance meter. Which isn’t much.
@@tobytodelafontena I am starting to look at a CPU slowly right now and funny enough it seems that the latest intel i9 13900 is the best bang for the buck ;-) Its all about budget ofcourse.

Was waiting so long for a plugin like this.
This plugin will change the sound of mixes in future.
The new benchmark
Dont know if it will change the sound of mixes since humans mix audio and they havent changed ;-) But its a very interesting plugin for sure!

No i was referring to this plugin alone hahaha

Newfangled Limiter - Elevate - is by far my favourite, so I’ll be checking this out.
Sweet! It will feel somewhat familiar.

What's the song you've got open in that video? Would love to hear more!
I ripped off this song: th-cam.com/video/tMciKZasZhs/w-d-xo.html
@@audiotoolshed It sounds nothing like the original! Is your version available anywhere as a full song?

Interesting you use saturation to bring back some life, i usually apply a bit of eq.

This plugin is absolutely not a classic comp in plugin from version 666.
Watch out for those cpu cycles eating dogs ^^
This also destroyed my relatively powerful CPU😂 nice vid!
yeah, I read newfangled is looking into it
Great review. Bonus points for that smokin track!
Thanks! I really need to finish that one.
This is everything in a plugin that I don't want haha.
 ^^
I was interested up to the point about CPU usage lol, which CPU are u using?
In this test it was an amd ryzen 9 3900.
Me too, my CPU can barely even handle Newfangled Audio's other plugins. Unfortunate, because they seem great.
thanks for a great video. looks and sound very interesting. Add to cart :)
Hope you enjoy it!

That’s very true!
Cool plugin but this thing eats my AMD Ryzen 5900x
Yup! Which ryzen series, 5, 7 or 9? Later gen than mine anyways.
This is a CPU killer, I can confirm. It exterminates my 2x Xeon processors. I'm about to say : "What else?". Saddly, because it seems great...
really? how old are those xeons? not even 4% on my amd 3900 cpu.
They are old, but they have 16/32 cores @2.80GHZ
