You guys misunderstood Mr. Duterte, I'm not supporting what Duterte's ways, but many of us Mindanao want independence because we have been the poorest region and the most neglected island, we are the no.1 region were poverty is high, Luzon, Visayas, are treated spoiledly while Mindanao suffers many problems, Luzon uses Mindanao as a resource point we're it takes the food, materials, and money from Mindanao.

Kung matutuloy ang voting for separation of Mindanao boboto ako.. e nandito ang ibat ibang mga plantation e pero ang tax napupunta sa progress lamang ng luzon at visayas.. Well honestly Luzon accumulates more than 50 percent of the Population. The money income of the provinces goes to the NCR and dont distribute it well back. mindanao is rich in Agriculture, and we have growing and booming cities and a huge metro. We are home of the Pineapple capital and Tuna Capital and we have beautiful places. Siargao and other white sand beaches are everywhere. We can survive alone our own without the imperial Manileños and tagalogs who are racist. But are not rich na umaasa lang sa gobyerno

I can agree.. The Philippines is too large and needs to be reduced.. even the president doesn't know its borders and will reduce the influence of Tagalog on Visayan. from what I've seen and experienced the problem is the discrimination against the bisaya in most major cities in luzon. even "kids" discriminate bisaya classmates mocking them. Is it because of the news on tv? or what society taught them? most people ive encountered in luzons assume that in mindanao there is always war, that you are a muslim, people eat bullets for breakfast, live on farmlands, doesn't have malls, eat salt, etc. Personally i don't mind mindanao's separation. the cause in most rebellion is that new found laws only benefit mostly in luzon and left people in mindanao behind. Tbh mindanao can live without luzon or visayas since mindanao has lots of resources i mean LOTS. i dont know why people in luzon is X when it comes to the separation of mindanao. even during the marshal law they protested even tho people in mindanao are chillin like nothing happened.

I just feel that Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be better off going independent. They just need careful planning and execution to make sure that it's done properly. I think it would be a lot easier managing a smaller country, especially if they are so different from one another. It's never going to work. Even if the country's capital is highly developed, but their slums are just as big as the entire city, so focusing on Luzon would make it easier for them to resolve the issue. The same goes for Visayas, making Cebu its Capital, and Davao for Mindanao. They would probably attract more international investors when they're completely independent from each other.

The Philippines can commit war crimes if it acts militarily against the secession of Mindanao through the UN resolution proposed by Rodrigo Duterte. Duterte never proposed to do the way of rebellion to separate from the colonialism of the Philippines but through the negotiating table through the UN resolution. if according to the law the Philippines can no longer be independent because the Philippines in the Luzon and Visayas areas have lost the war at the hands of Spain and have already been sold by Spain to America, the sale of the Philippine Islands by Spain to America is valid which causes the Philippines (Luzon and Visayas) already belongs to America and should be returned to America. there is only one Mindanao island that has never been subjugate in a war and has never been controlled by any foreign colonial party that deserves to declare independence through international law or a UN resolution. therefore, if viewed in international law, the granting of independence to the Philippines that has already been legally sold is illegal under the law. that's what I dare to say with absolute freedom Mindanao from the river to the sea Mindanao will be free.
