This is part of a game called Gaki No Tsukai. Wall of Boxes is the round 3 of the Gaki No Tsukai game, in which 4 players (2 per team) must face some... problems and try to stay as much as possible on the boxes - กีฬา

I am Japanese. Now I am 20 years old and I am happy to see this on TH-cam because this was broadcast before I was born. In Japan, this kind of variety used to be broadcasted every day, but recently it is becoming less and less.
The people in this video, including the host, are representative of Japanese comedians. Especially Ken Shimura was very popular for a long time, but he passed away recently. All of Japan was saddened by his passing. Even though he passed away, Ken Shimura's variety shows are still aired occasionally. We will never forget him.

When I saw Shimura Ken in another video before he passed away, I was surprised at how old he looked. Time flies, Hamada and Matsumoto and the others have all gotten old, sadly.
Mr. Shimura is a legend. This video was my introduction to Japanese variety shows.

Believe it or not, the 2 guys wearing red were behind "Americas Funniest Home Videos."
They began the trend on their comedy show in the mid to late 80's when they would get home video submissions from viewers and they would review them and make jokes, and someone saw it, and brought it to America in '89.
You can see it in AFV's credits as "Fun with Ken-san & Kato-chan."

But please watch Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende..it’s a batsu game (punishment game) where they have to try succeed to not laugh for 24hours ..and if they fail to do do so, they’ll get punished with different objects that’s connected with the theme/locations of the show

Is this the same people who did the other batsugame where the contestants had to spend a night in a hall and they were ambushed several times during that time. The one who got caught first would be punished. It was so funny :D

This is actually really hilarious. Like, the contestants know it's crazy and scary, but they've got this fantastic sense of humor. They're not putting up with any crap. "What the heck was that?!?" yelling at the people trying to knock them down. Man, this is great.
they're called "Downtown or as a group Gaki no Tsukai" and are among the best Japanese comedians..hence the "fantastic sense of humor" ...look them up..you'll get hooked..
I mean tbh as a Japanese, the Japanese sense of humor probably won't be as appealing to foreigners as it is funny to the Japanese themselves. I find some of their stuff funny, but only because I've grown pretty accustomed to their unique sense of humor.
