We were invited to the "Thor: Ragnarok" press conference that was held on October 11th, 2017 in Beverly Hills. This is the full conference, with: Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Jeff Goldblum ( Grandmaster), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Taika Waititi ( Director/Korg), Karl Urban ( Skurge), Rachel House (Topaz), Kevin Feige (Producer). There are a few spoilers!

Tom hiddleston looks so sad and quiet because he knew his character will be dying in infinity war. You can see the determination of Tom towards the Loki character, he loves it. But fans with their love brought him back. He is the real hero.

They wanted Thor to be the main character and as Taika once said 'to bring Loki down a bit so that he doesn't overshadow Thor'. So they replaced him with Mark Ruffalo. Chris betrayed him, it's really sad

Thor Ragnarok is such a sweet, hilarious and heartily experience. It’s possibly my fav MCU movie next to Infinity war. And it’s all thanks to “Taika and Chris” magic.

22:12 Oh man, I really wish Loki could have gotten his hair cut too-- maybe someone grabs him by the hair in the last battle and he has to lop it off to get free.... Hopefully Loki will keep changing and growing like Tom talks about; every character needs to grow or it gets boring.
Flobbyoiboyz , Loki already had short hair in Thor (2011). But it wasn't as short as Thor's hair in this movie.
Loki's the character who's undergone the most changes in the entire series of films. I was frankly a bit lost by Thor's accusation that he seemed to "just want to stay the same". Given how short a time six years would be on an Asgardian scale, the amount of transformation Loki's gone through is staggering.
Loki is a continuous changing since 2011. Have you seen it or just talking and that's all?

In Norse mythology Hela is the daughter of Loki what was the creative thinking behind the decision to change Hela from being Lokis daughter to becoming Thors older sister? Why didn't someone ask this! 😔
Maybe because the answer is obvious. Having Loki suddenly have a grown-up daughter out of nowhere would have been ridiculous to the point of stupidity. In the first movie he was barely a grown up himself. It wouldn't have been remotely plausible to turn around and say he'd had an adult kid stashed away somewhere that whole time.
I mean, in Norse Mythology Loki is a servant to the Aceir God's, NOT Thors bro. Thor also isn't Odin's only child, there's Baldur, Tyr, etc. Also Thor battles The midgard serpant and Odin battles Fenrir. Point being, the Asgard of Marvel is vastly different from that of Norse Myth, so to that the Asgard of the MCU is vastly different from both.
Trill God Well said. I’m sure there are tons of MCU fans who know nothing about Norse mythology. Being of Norse descent, I enjoy how well they’ve tied in the mythology. Not everything is right on. For instance, Surtur is actually named Surt, and Fenris the Wolf was Loki’s child too. If they stuck to Norse mythology, though, I can assure you that NO ONE would like Loki, and that would be an absolute shame.
Tails Prower Fenris the Wolf was Loki’s child, as well, in Norse mythology.

Chris was upset by how much fans loved Loki and as Taika once said 'they wanted to bring Loki down so that he doesn't overshadow Thor'. So they replaced him with Mark Ruffalo. Chris betrayed him and they haven't mentioned each other since or been to each other's movies/shows. In the Thor 4 press tour, Chris said that he doesn't really want Loki back. And someone said that in Thor 4 when Thor recounts what happened in Thor 3 and who stood by him, he doesn't mention Loki as if he never existed. And in the Loki series interviews, when they asked who Tom would like to have cameo, he doesn't mention Chris anymore, who used to be his no. 1. He only talks about Thor if others bring him up first and only to say that 'Thor has his own family in Thor 4 now' with a hint of sadness. This breaks my heart, I wish that they could resolve their issues and become friends again

Just Chillin i think people doesn't have problem with diversity itself, the problem is that there are a lot of cases that it's far-fetched and doesn't make any sense.

Just Chillin but the thing that makes people angry that it does matter just reversed (so they want to be diverse even if it's not good for the movie). Idris Elba is a great actor and nobody felt like he doesn't belong in that skandinavian mythical place because he's black. He made it work really well. With Tessa it's just doesn't make any sense to make a skandinavian warrior lady black and it makes you think why is that because she can't pull it off. She's alright but not good enough to compensate that she is so out of place.
