Labour- between 5-8k depending upon the fitment location (cost not included in part cost)

1. Is this a successful product?
A. Yes in Hexa (for other models contact your dealership)
2. How is the quality of the glass?
A. This is the same quality of glass which is used in the windshield.
3. Will the electric motor void the warranty.
A. This has a direct battery connection with complete wiring harness hence there will be no wiring tampering for the particular model.
4. What is the warranty period and what happens after warranty.
A. warranty period is one year service will continue even after the part goes out of warranty but, the service and part replacement will be chargeable. Physical damage / accident will not be covered under warranty.
5.Can this be insured ?
A. Few insurance companies are insuring this product, best to check with your insurance provider for the same.
6.If I, met with an accident will the insurance company cover the claim due to such fitments ?
A. this is approved in Tata genuine accessories and is recommended for use in Tata Hexa if the hexa owner who has install thi

Will it not weaken the car top structure portion? Also, during rainy days, there is a huge chance of water leakage. Sunroof surely looks good but if vechile meets in crash then it will be a disastrous.
it definitely will. A car is designed from the ground up. A sunroof is a huge point of weakness on a car structure and thus needs equivalent or more strenghtening on the B and C pillars.

Amazing stuff, but just noticed a few things. While removing the roof liner, some foam insulation was torn, which I think should ideally be replaced.

Cars with sunroof features comes built from production/assembly line which doesn't compromise with safety. Though its a Tata's accessories, you are installing it after production. Which will result in crack & miss alignment when u go off road with some passenger/luggage weight (as hexa 4×4 is made for).
Public/we are ready to pay 30k more if it comes from factory fitted ! (like under name "Tata Hexa Xz+ O")

I always wonder that can this structure is strong enough to absorb the vibrations and jerking or what if money stands on the top this thing during jungle safari. I personally think it is not worth it.

Whether fit and finish of the interior of car would be the same as earlier, for eg. The foam finish of ceiling fabric and the fitting of the ceiling in a proper way

what about the structural strength after installation
Surely strength will reduce, as they cut the cross beams used for strengthening of the roof.

A couple of my friends have installed Webasto Sunroof in their cars. One is a Honda City and the other a Honda Civic. They have been holding up pretty good.

Company gives sunroof as accessory as a inbuilt feature of chassis of the car.
What about the structural rigidity of the car??

By installing the sunroof, the B-pillar cross beam is removed, will this affect side impact and can any vehicle sustain the side collision ??
When sunroofs are added by company they make the side pillars more stronger as well add some beam(forgetting the actual place where, guess vertical beams) that's why the company fitted sunroofs car are stronger then these vulnerable fancy piece. Structure integrity is damaged here completely and no car body modifier will ever tell you this or even accept. IN some cases they themselves are unaware.
