When you hear Lizzie is responding to comments so you pause work and head on over immediately 😂 loved it and if you are getting into double exposures would love a more in-depth look into the process at a more fine art level (dslr gear etc)!
I’ve only shot double exposures on film and have been lately thinking about trying them digitally so this is perfect timing ☺️
Also, any tips for getting reach/traction with digital products like presets? I’m not getting anywhere and those Sellfy fees gotta get paid! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😅

Hahah thanks for coming by! ;) I'm glad this was perfect timing! I would suggest switching to housing your presets on a website? Sometimes the SEO gods are in your favour and you may get more people landing on your website & buying your presets. Also promoting them in TH-cam content or anywhere you promote your business.

You should do a video on that lighting setup! I’d like to figure out how people get the background behind them to be so dark but yet the person is so well lit. I always get heavy light bleed on the wall.

I've heard you're responding to comments right now🙈
I have to take this chance for a really important question🤔 I'm from germany and started my business in March this year and I'm really struggling to get some new clients. I'm doing photography since about ten years and now professionally. My work is mostly specialized on marketing and advertising content for brands and businesses. Have you any tipps or ideas for people in this kind of niche? If it helps you can check out my work here or in IG and maybe I'm doing something wrong or I'm just not patient enough 😂
Btw, love you guys! I'm always watching your videos and listening to your podcast every time a new episode drops!

Overall, it's important to do whatever you can to make sure your clients like you, your work, and want to give you that referral or hire you back! That's the #1 way you're going to grow your business. Using your own network is also extremely important. Share your work OFTEN with your network. That means your own personal fb page as well. After that, I would really have to take a look at your approach and work as a whole! I do offer one on one consultations so head over to my website if that's something you're interested in.

    • @datcaptain

@@LizziePeirce thank you for your response!
Oh yeah, it's always my first and most important job to make the client feel comfortable and satisfied/happy with my work and me in person as well.
But that's a great advice! Most of my friends and people I'm connected already know what I do, but I only use my "business" accounts for sharing my work and not my personal. Thank you!
This sounds great! I will do my best and come back to your consultation offer.
Thank you again for your time and your really helpful answer 😊

Hi Lizzie. Question...what is the tripod you made a video about a little while back. It was a sponsored video you were testing this tripod. I can’t find your video and honestly can’t remember if it was a TH-cam or insta. Maybe you were even testing a camera as well. My tripod crapped out and looking for a good travel one (not a mini).

Hi Michelle, it was a video with posing tips and i shared my favourite tripod I use for my self portraits and travel photography. It’s the peak design travel tripod.

Seems like a fake double exposure if it’s not taken in the same frame. This is more like taking 2 photos and putting them together in editing instead of taking an actual double exposure on the scene.

    • @ijyoyo
      @ijyoyo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

A double exposure is two separate frames. 2 Photos have two separate frames. This is a modern double exposure
