Thanks for including the close view of how those plastic bits go together. It would be easy to mess up the reassembly for somebody who doesn't do this every day.
I feel sometimes sharing those thoughts answers questions on why I do what I do. Not saying its right or wrong, just the way I roll. Thanks for supporting the channel!
@@TheGreasyShopRag what are you working on today? I’ve finished up with a MS361 , a MS170 on the bench now. Had a old Jonsered 2050 dropped off today, and a Dolmar 420
@@marriedwithsmallengines I have the day off. Just stripped, cleaned photographed and listed all the parts from a jonsered saw. Cleaning a poulan now. Good times!
Thanks! When asked which is better, stihl or husky, I always tell customers to find a good dealer first because we're talking about the two top brands. With an out of warranty unit and the internet I guess any brand will work.
Hmmm. Would I have replaced it or just snapped it back? Probably the former, because I would have to order the part. Good job on showing how those mechanical connections "articulate". Thanks!
It may depend in what part of the world you bought it. I see there were some 42mm bores that gave 45cc and in the states a 44mm bore that brings it to 50cc.
Bucket list saw! Well done!

Still my favorite saw! 14,000 rpm baby!!
It sure does rip!
Great find on the choke, and thanks for the close up. But thanks for the entire journey. For example the fuel filter.

Thanks for sharing Scott!!
Thanks for taking the time!
Great video, Scott!
Your videos often motivate me to get my butt in gear and get to my own work bench! 😂
Speaking of your bench...did you say you were having something new built? Now get yer butt in gear!
@ I was thinking of it .. but now I’m not sure. I kinda like my tattered and trusty old bench 🤣🤣
@@marriedwithsmallengines Nothing wrong with that. The white plastic piece on my bench is the liner from a dump truck box!

Hey Doc. I had the same fix once. I like the way you narrate within the pic. I can see how your operating. Thanks
I almost have to do it that way because I'm working in a busy shop. Thanks for watching!
Those dang engineers sure have that stuff figured out, don't they!!
Ya I guess they do!
Great fix once again, Scott. As simple as a choke linkage, lol. Great find.
I like the simple fixes. Thanks for watching!
Easy fix. Thise are great saws, that one looks to be in great condition.
Yes it was easy for you and me. Probably easier for the owner to pay me rather than try himself 🙂
Nice job ;)👍
Damn it man! If I'd known at the time we had a proper online technician, I mighta bought a Hoosky. 👍🍻

Well I guess taking some of the voo out of voodoo helps people understand. Thanks for watching!
Hey Scott my buddies stihl starts and runs, but once it gets hot it bogs and stalls out and won’t run again until it’s cold again any ideas 💡 thanks 🙏
Hello.what is your thought on the 545 husqvarns. Keep the good content coming.
Its a mellow version of the 550XP which I consider a great saw.
It's kinda weird. I was just repairing a choke lever on a 350 yesterday. Looks like I did it right 👍
Well then, good job on the repair!
@TheGreasyShopRag Thanks Scott
is that a 45cc saw or 50cc?
@@2stroketime348 Is a 50cc i have the same saw. Is a great maskin.

@@TheGreasyShopRag in sweden the saw with the grey clutch hod is the second edition and 50cc.
@@kjella8728 Good to know. Thanks!
How does the gas not ruin ur light??
I dunno. It must be sealed or maybe its not and thats why I have to replace it every couple years. I keep a spare.
