    It was an informative advertisement for the business richard was hoping to promote.
    He made the fire in the fire pit and explained after having roughly established that he would build it up once it had taken the flame. concerned, the people around him felt it was necessary to make him aware that the internet, much like a fire, can be unpredictable and dangerous, and having an abnormally large fire may cause upset or criticism from the invulnerable commenters of every opinion, people knew that richard had a reputation for excessive amounts of flames and he said he had it under control.
    When the time came, he knew how to explain to everyone around the world why the fire was going to be so huge and also the unaddressed thoughts of the viewer about why that fire pit is so enormous.
    He chortled to himself and said four words that made everything make sense
    "I'm Fire Pit Rick"

    I noticed you were using wood toward the top that did not have any bark on it. Does it matter that the "upper wood" has any bark on it. I forgot to trim the bark from my logs and I'm wondering if this is part of the reason why my fire didn't burn as long. I also heard that if you trim the bark off the wood with an ax you can use that chopped bark as tinder.

    You wanna know the easy easy way to start a fire? Pour a few drops of gasoline onto the stacked wood in the firepit, take a stick & tie a rag to the end of it then soak that in gasoline, stand approx. 10 feet away from the firepit, light the stick (you now have a torch), finally throw the stick onto the firepit. You now have a roaring fire in less then 10 seconds. Seriously, gasoline is the best. I'm not responsible for any deaths or injuries that may occur with said method.

    I tried that fat wood sticks, kiln dried firewood, keeps going out, have a nice fire pit , just a dud, with plenty of kindling, keeps going out, the only thing that worked was 1 log of duraflame, got that fire rocking, I will try your method one time, thanks

    • @apocyldoomer
      @apocyldoomer 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      A Person No I can't do that, it will stink, I've used lighter fluid but that's temporary, so, I finally found my own technique, I now whittle down the fat wood as small as I can get it, put a small piece of aluminum foil on the grate, pile the fat wood pieces on the foil, so the wood doesn't fall into the pit, add nice kindling, of course, and viola, you have yourself a fire🌋, haven't had a problem since , now this is you are home or camping, not stuck out in the woods, that's a different animal, always , even if you don't smoke, always carry one, I think a bic lighter is a great survival tool.

    • @aperson4933
      @aperson4933 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gasoline smells good though. But whatever floats your boat I guess. Me personally, I don't like to fuck with kindling or tinder, I prefer an instant fire.

    • @apocyldoomer
      @apocyldoomer 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      A Person Ha, yeah, charcoal works great too, just a few briquettes lighter fluid and there ya go..

    • @aperson4933
      @aperson4933 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea coal lighter fluid is safe and I think it soaks into the wood and burns longer. And its much safer then gasoline. But it does cost much more then gasoline. I think the store where I buy my lighter fluid costs about $10 for a gallon whereas gasoline is dirt cheap. I typically use old gas for fires since there is nothing else to do with it. Sometimes I'll use old gas to clean certain things. I guess coal itself could work as well. It would provide constant heat which is good.

  • @Joshuaxiong2
    @Joshuaxiong2 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just use the small portable torch fire that shoots out blue fire... it can burn the big wood easily because blue fire is hotter.
