Humble request - please change the word Temple to Mandir. Not just for Ram Mandir, but for all so called "Hindu Temples." Christians go to Church, Muslims go to Mosque, Jews go to Synagogue. However, Sikhs go to Sikh "Temple" and Hindus go to Hindu "Temple." Why? Because of colonization. We need to remove this word temple, as it has no relation to our Sabhyachaar or Sanskriti. Humble request - please change the word Temple to Mandir. Not just for Ram Mandir, but for all so called "Hindu Temples." Christians go to Church, Muslims go to Mosque, Jews go to Synagogue. However, Sikhs go to Sikh "Temple" and Hindus go to Hindu "Temple." Why? Because of colonization. We need to remove this word temple, as it has no relation to our Sabhyachaar or Sanskriti. It is our responsibility to teach the word Mandir to others. We need to stop using english words to define our DHARAM. Jai Hind! Jai Shri Ram!

Mandir is a Hindi term. In the South, we rarely use the term mandir. It's Gudi in Telangana/AP; "Aalayam" in Tamil Nadu, Kshetram in Kerala, and "Devasthana" in Karnataka.
