I was diagnosed with T4 bladder cancer on October 5th 2018 and given 1.5 years to live. I said NO to chemotherapy and radiation treatments as well as major surgery, I chose a cannabis treatment ( Rick Simpson oil) and I'm still here today going on six years now.

Of the four deployments to Iraq I was on, I managed to see Toby Keith twice! That was not easy to do. The logistics of getting my butt to the two different locations was hard. It was more than worth it. I spent 28yrs in the Army, infantry. Toby Keith appreciated the guys at the tip of the spear doing the nasty work. I never met a soldier, NCO, or officer that did not love Toby Keith. Every single time I hear that song The Red White and Blue, the tears come on. I love America, the flag, but I don't love our government much. Toby got that, he understood. He will be missed.

He left this world on his terms! He is playing with the angels now! We, America loved Toby!!🇺🇸❤️✝️

So sad I really believed he was going to beat the cancer. He was so courageous and made it almost 3 years after being diagnosed. So I felt like he could have beat the odds. Lost half his body weight and he still fought hard. So not only is he one of my all time favorite country singers but how he fought cancer made him a hero to me. RIP Big Dog.

The photos of Tony shortly before his passing were utterly heartbreaking. He was always healthy looking but to see how cancer ravaged him brings me to tears. I have been a Toby Keith fan from the beginning. RIP brother, see you on the other side I hope

God knows what was best for Toby Keith and he sent an angel to take him away to a better place. HEAVEN.

Toby was my absolute favorite country artist. Hearing about his death hurt me so bad. Every time I do shots, I take one in remembrance of him. Rest in Peace you absolute legend. We will always remember you.

I guess we will never know if the chemo helped or hurt Toby!? I know from personal experience, the chemo is just as bad as or worse than the cancer. Anyone out there god for bid, look into the Cancer diet. I wish I had talked my mother into it. God bless everyone out there dealing with this HORRIBLE disease.

  • @mhsness6168

Wow. I just saw some of the comments. For those of you going off on Brett, where is your heart?!? This guy just lost a friend! Show some respect!

  • @jaylipka1010

More people than not say that Chemo did them more harm than good...

  • @NatureLoverReturns

I lost my best friend to cancer at 42 yrs old. They rushed him into chemo, and he only lasted 6 months. I begged him to try other methods, but he was stubborn and afraid, also. I don't blame him but I saw the chemo weakening him and it was very difficult to watch.

  • @EBHERNANDEZ7

love Brett Farve.. Thanks for the kind words . Toby was one of a kind. Even Hispanics loved his music. I love singing his songs karaoke.
