This warms my heart!!! I love going through dollar boxes with cards in top loaders and penny sleeves! It maybe worth it just for the top loader! Hey if you are ever in the Philly area, I have a local shop called Chalfont Sports Connection. Chalfont is a city about an hour away. They have a load of dollar bins like 40 or so(3,000 count boxes). They also have a bunch of autos/ mem cards for $2.50. Well worth going if you are ever in the area.
a big reason why we dont see as many game used jersey cards are the athletes arent giving up their gamers any more,i have a buddy who plays in the NHL and he wont let his game worj jerseys to ne taken.
sweet pickups!! The topps wording on their relics are strange, they are all game used but they put that on the back just to tell you its not from any specific game, just that he wore it at some point. it does say game used right next to the patch on the front of the card. Different from panini's non-affiliated garbage.
I’m 40 also so about 13 that year and while I agree with ai being the guy from the beginning (hell even Camby, ray allen, John Wallace, Nash about even with Kobe loaded class and sick sets) but to me chrome was always tops and price at my shop I think agreed cause couldn’t afford packs if I remember right. Ex-2001 and chrome prob my fav never loved the finest. A force was also very cool and liked better than finest.
@@americanarbitragecards Thanks for the reply. I was curious about these cause I wasn't sure if it was aloud to approach them about that stuff. Love your content.
Hands down, Topps Finest Basketball from 96-97 and 97-98 were king! Love the three tiers. Especially the GOLD!!!!
Remember the embossed and die cuts too? Wild set
I love all the SPS at $1.00. I bought a Ted Williams SP and I sold it for $9.99.
Scored a Tanner McKee RPA /199, Hendon Hooker Rookie Jumbo Patch, and Jay Ward Origins Auto for just $18! Dollar boxes are beautiful
Finest was king back in the day, I also loved metal universes
The metal universe cards are my favorite. 90 and early 2000 inserts where very nice.
I agree topps finest was the set back in the day, but I fell in love with Fleer Metal cards

So glad you enjoyed. I will try to remember to check out that shop when I’m in the area :)
Topps Finest was at the time the pinnacle set but believe Chrome overtook them. I think the creativity of finest sets make them so nice
It must be nice to have value boxes available. Our one local shop doesn’t do them.

Interesting…that would explain it a bit :)
Finest was the business back then. I was big into the Bowman that year.
Bowman’s best was legit! Atomic refractors
I was also 13 when 1996 cards came out. Topps finest was more popular the chrome.
Topps finest and sp were the most expensive cards when they first came out

I guess you didn’t notice but on the front of the Freddie freeman relic it said game worn
I missed it! I might’ve gotten that…good eye
Is there advice on quickly pricing your cards to place them on eBay?

I hear ya….I’d go finest, ex2001 then maybe chrome and bowman’s best. What a great year of sets!
Does Whatnot send you an invite to participate in these headline shows they do?
Yes and no…for this one yes. I was in the card show 3 a couple weeks ago and I approached them

@@nocx_breaks approach them :) dm them on IG :)
@@americanarbitragecards I will do that whenever the next one is. For family stuff this weekend. Bust of luck on your show.
7:34 that is not the Texas rangers all star
It’s a little confusing honestly…he has an older brother…but born in 1986, please explain…because I ended up leaning towards it being adolis Garcia
@@americanarbitragecards it must be like a throwback of some sort because he’s obviously probably not playing anymore
Larry Hughes - good player not great
Fair…underrated I’d say though
