Colleges and employers should be required to have their students and employees tested every month and/or treated with broad spectrum anti parasitic medications until these organisms are made EXTINCT
This I had for more than 40 years that went undetected by many physicians and by chance took Flagyl for another purpose. The prostatitis cleared up within three days of the 10 days treatment. I can now pee freely.
40 YEARS!!! That makes me so angry! I’m not sure how long I’ve had- just diagnosed recently. But I’ve been on so many antibiotics for the last year I’m probably resistant by now. I had to fight/ strongly argue with my physician to treat my husband- because he did have symptoms! And I’m terrified because of the “black box warning” on metronidazole How can you get cancer from a 7day treatment?? More likely from all the antibodies I had to take before getting would contribute- But I’m grateful and hopeful that I FINALLY HAVE AN ANSWER- maybe

Finally I'm free from this disease Dr Oyetoro continues doing the good work God will surely see you through in everything you do.
I tested positive for this but after taking “metro”(flagyl ) 500mg tablets twice a day it cleared up in 3 days
did you continue with the drug after three days? I heard standard treatment is 5 to 7 days twice a day..
You may still have it if you were prescribed a longer regimen and did not complete it. Get tested again.

Dr. Checks under microscope, also Dr .can sometimes smell or see the discharge color the the t.vag bugs leave behind, culture,other testing .
So you could get this in a raw sewage running beside a creek?
I suspect you could but I'm not paid to make that remark. I had it once and it did seem to be sexually transmitted.
