Love the idea behind the channel - photography is my therapy as well. Last year I found film photography to be even more therapeutic which doubles as digital detox. These days, my Sony A7C has been relegated to a glorified film scanner!

@@BokehTherapy I'm an urban designer so I have always been interested in the places we create and how they shape the lives of people. I started doing photography and video last year to capture the projects that I work on, but now I'm just really enjoying doing photography for its own sake and as another creative outlet. So the photography is something I do for enjoyment - but I also find that it makes me pay attention and stop and think about the places around me more closely. So there is a lot of cross-over.

Maybe some people feel like an Impostor because they are trying to be like someone else? Possibly, they are doing photography in order to obtain some sort of validation, as opposed to using it as an outlet for self-expression. Remember, when you look at the work of the greats, you are seeing the best of the best of their photos. Maybe they had 3 keepers in a role of 36 frames.

50 is the natural area of what you focus on, not including the peripheral area around it. So if you stroll around a city and notice something, the 50 is ideal to capture that. The 28 or 35 is more like capturing all of your peripheral vision and then you can zoom in the different layers in post but as a whole it's not representative of the one thing your eyes focused on in that moment
