I am not blown away tbh, and career looks bare bones to say the least 🤔
I definitely feel more enjoyment from this compared to Tiebreak, but the limited career may be a little bit of an issue, to say the least
It’s kind of a shame what they did with career. They actually did add more depth with a support staff and homes and injuries but they still limit you to only 80 total players in rankings. Just wish they increased that and number of tournaments you could enter per month and I’d be much happier
What did you think of the game so far?
It's definitely very similar to Top Spin 4, in some ways it's a bit more of an adjustment to the timing and controls. But largely the same, still more enjoyable at this point compared to Tiebreak
Until 2k25 fixes Alcaraz,Murray and other player models which look nothing like them i am not touching the game,at least Tiebreak has over 100 players that look like the players and i am sure because Tiebreak is in early stages they will make the gameplay better by official release,i have read they are onto the sliding footwork now and animations.
The issue with Tiebreak is, this is their 4th attempt at a tennis game and the previous 3 games were bitter disappointments, along with the last few games in other sports they've released, haven't lived up to expectations in terms of gameplay. They seem to focus way too much of licensing
I dont think Tiebreak can be better than TS2k25. Movement of Tiebreak is weird if you know how to analyze realistic movement in tennis. Unfortunately a lot of people saw the movrments already realistic so the devs probably will not going to improve that farder. Having huge number of rosters is useless if the gameplay and movements are not good. Good if their animation will be up or closer to reality like TS, but I highly doubt it.
@@JohnnyDGaming89 I like AO TENNIS 2 and after slowing down game speed and ball speed in settings the game looks and feels much better,then i went back to topspin 4 which i thought was the best and did not like it anymore as it is too slow and ball framerate was terrible to look at on xbox 360,i don't think i will pick up topspin 4 again and 2k25 does not look much better nothing like next generation
yes Rob we know u like AO Tennis over Top Spin, everyone gonna have their own tastes when it comes to Tennis Games and thats fine to me this looks lot like TS4 but with better gfx which is fine to me cause TS4 was a solid game.
Same serve animations for the 90% of the roster, exactly like ts4
That’s a reason for me for not buying this game..: they gonna release some big names later but I promise they serve the same way

The gameplay seems the same as TopSpin 4, which is good. Graphics are really bad I would say, even worse than TopSpin 4, I can see pixels. The career aspect I don't know how it is, but since it shouldn't be moddable, I hope it will have many tournaments and a decent number of players. But hey, at least the gameplay is there!
You really just said tps4 has better graphics than this? Lol check yourself
@@bossknight3504 Look at the players when the camera zooms in. It does feel nothing more than a porting to me. In 2024 you should expect next-gen graphics. TopSpin 4 on RPCS3 emulator looks not worse than this.
I agree the face models are not that good, but I can understand because it seems they did not have much of a budget for that. They still need to fix and polish them though.
Overall graphics of courts and even crowd is much improved over topspin 4 imo

@@lte6983 Because if you watch NBA 2K24 and Top Spin 2K25, there's world of difference in graphics, at least I see a huge difference, as if TopSpin is more a porting than a scratch made game. My guess, if I'm right, is that next iteration of TopSpin will be next-gen.
