There are some truths and some fallacies in the video. As many have written, the music is not Hungarian. Non-Magyar folk costumes can be found in some parts. There are also mistakes in the historical part. The current economic and political situation is deplorable and shameful, and I say this as a Hungarian. It used to be said that Hungary was the most cheerful barak in the Eastern Bloc and that the country really played a serious role in the breakup of the Eastern Bloc. Hungarian cuisine is not only about paprika. At 4:33, the video is about the Kecskemét folk dance festival, which is a really good answer. The last part, the future prospect, is partly nonsense and partly a mistake. The video is nice and well put together, it is correct about many things, but in some places there are huge mistakes and all Hungarian expressions were said incorrectly. I don't understand the language thing. The Hungarian language is full of vowels. There are more than in other languages and they are even separated according to their length. a á e é i í o ó ö ő u ú ü ű
From this viewpoint you can claim that none of the nations today were there in Roman times, as there were no modern nations back then. But if you take the different peoples who merged into Hungairans then definitely there were many of them living here in Roman times. Schythians (more precisely Sarmatians) were one of the forefathers of Hungarians and they were predating the Romans here. (the Arpad house tracked back their ancestry to the Scythians). Then there were the Huns, Avars and many others who also built up the Hungarian nation. My genes suggest that my ancentors have been living here the last 4000 years and I am obviously Hungarian.
@@freebozkurt9277 hungarians were never touched by the Romans, they never even reached the land. They went as far as romania and germany and then started to crumble and dissaprared by the time hungarians showed up in like 800AD
@@Samsung-1.9Cu.Ft.Microwave hahahaha you know nothing. Hungarians reached as far as Iberia allied with this and that king, it is all in the Chronicles. This much is about Hungarians never reached Hungary. Chronicles also state the Seklers were the remnants of the Huns and when the Hungarians arrived they went to reunite with them immediately. Yes, reunite. What is not in the Chronicles is what happened centuries before chronicles were ever written. But, the legends do talk about those times too. According to the legends Hungarians were seeking the land of their forefathers when arrived to Hungary in the IX. century.. In other words they were returning home where they met with the other remnants of their forefathers, the Szeklers. So the Szeklers definitely met the Romans as they were here with the Huns. So were the Scythians and other elements of the Hungarians.

Probably because I live near to Hungary, but I knew all of this. Ok, there is some degree of overblown facts and info to the poetic levels, so that for the tone of the video. Oh, yeah, we were in the same kingdom milena ago... (Croatia and Hungary)..
