I'm trying to UV a segment of a building. It's got some ornamental ridges around the top, so some angle face up in Z and others face out in X & Y. There are window slots as well. The roof is flat. There are some beveled / chamferred edges. I just want an even, right-angular UV map. But, to get that, it seems I have to manually planar-project each face. The relax, peel and straighten tools do not give me what I need. They get close, but there is still distortion in the checkerboard pattern. Is there a better way to get what I'm looking for without a script or manually applying a planar projection onto each set of faces?
