    i have a question. i have been fishing in local club tournaments and have been killing it. ive been in 26 so far and have won 18. i want to take it to the next level but i know there is a huge difference from fishing local lakes to huge lakes with thousands of acres. mostly finding the bass. what tournaments would you recommend im 18 live in mass and looking to be a co angler. most of the lakes here are under 700 acres and not a lot of big tournaments are held here.

      on catching big bass i got into fish when i was 15 like realy into it that year i caught about 10 bass over four lbs went about 100 days. mostly on frogs. the next year i caught about 20 bass over four lbs on every thing went about 70 days. last year i caught about 50 bass over four pounds alot on worms swim baits and spinner baits. this year i caught about 20 bass over four lbs including breaking my personal best 2 times with a 6-5 and a 6-9 later i went about 50 times. the point is the more you fish the more youll learn. figure out your seasonal patterns. heres what i know.
      i live in mass all these lure produce big bass for me.
      Spring
      -jig swim bait- spinner bait- rattle trap (what i caught my pb on)
      summer - frog senko- spinner bait jig- crank bait swim bait
      fall- frog crank bait is king, chatter bait - swim bait

    The lake I fish in is a place that is VERY hard to read, it is a lake that has a section that is nice blue clear water that is leading into a very dark brown/muddy section, what should I use in spring summer and fall?

      Talk to the other anglers on the water and ask the local bait shop. Bait shop guys know their shit usually

    Would you recommend buying a 2.5 inch lunker frog or a 1.5 inch and why? Thanks! :)

    • @ScottMartinChallenge
      @ScottMartinChallenge  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2.5 - Bigger fish, casts better and makes more of a presence.

      +scott martin Would I still be able to catch smaller ones with it? Because here in Oregon there aren't too many big ones, there's always the occasional lunker.

    Fish see in red and green and the rest dark or light so white red green and black should cover it
