All bands deserve a chance... as long as they mean something to you. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. With that being said. I appreciate this song. Jam it almost everyday. It is unique and has a positive upbringing in my personal life. Everything you could ask for in a song.

Also, what is the guitar held by the guy on the left? It looks like an Ibanez SZ520QM but I could be wrong. I'm thinking about buying one of those soon.

I agree, cleans should occur more outside of verses. Breakdowns that have build-ups are the only heavy breakdowns tbh. The problem is that this band has no creativity, and this music video shows that they're boring as well.

***** I've been a fan of metal for years, and love a little from every genre. it's not being a 'hipster' to be tired of breakdowns and clean choruses... at all. I feel the same way. It's the kind of music I listened to when I started listening to metal. As time went on, I got more & more bored of it. It's like a cookie-cutter template for some bands. Intro, plain verse, small build up, clean chorus, variation verse, chorus, breakdown, chorus, outro. Every song.. haha. Don't get your balls in a rustle because somebody doesn't touch themselves to your favorite band.
Not tired of music at all. I love many genres, and many sub-genres within them :). I can't imagine only listening to one type of music, but everybody is different. Sorry that repetitive breakdowns and clean choruses don't thrill me anymore? lol. I have nothing against clean vocals or breakdowns, but when every song by a band has the same structure and feel, it's just not entertaining. Also, google the word 'hipster', and learn how to use it ;)

2022 checking in here and just to say that this was an amazing band and i loved them and have been listening to them for about 6 years this is my favorite song because it saved me from some dark times

Phillip Kenyon I think it's more that some people assume that in order for music to be enjoyable it has to contain either prog, avant-garde, or simply inventive elements. Which is hardly true. 'Generic' music is popular because it contains qualities that allow many people to connect with it, rather than endeavoring to be something abstract.
