I'm trying to set up a Google Ads Conversion Tracking tag, but I don't see the Conversion label anywhere. I see the Conversion ID, but not the label. The option to Tag Setup>Use Google Tag Manager is not there for me at all. Can you help?
I REALLY need help and I cant find anything in the Internet and get no answers in stack overflow. So I tried to use a custom variable for a trigger. I tried using cookie, customJS, JSvariable and even dataLayer variable. All I want is, if one of those return true or any buzzword to trigger my tag. So I tried this and in the debugger it says under filters "gtm.load equals [variablename]" and there is a red X, which means that is why the tag didn't fire, right? So why is that? I really don't get it. The Custom trigger actually gets a green tick. So it must return true.
Hey Julius. How much javascript script do you write. How much javascript knowledge is necessary? It's interesting and a frustrating programming language. Would love to hear your thoughts.
As far as setting up GTM, if I have already established events on Facebook, for example, and goals within Google Analytics, do I still need to recreate each of these as a separate tag in GTM? I want to start using GTM, but I think the disconnect for me has to do with what information does GTM sends and how it connects to the existing data/goals/conversions you've established independent of GTM. Can anyone please advise?

Depends on how buttons are coded. Try looking for similar classes. Maybe you can reduce the number to just several triggers and tags.
@@AnalyticsMania They all have the same class and text but different links. So I was thinking if there is a way to reduce the complexity.
Then why not use the one trigger for the same class and send click URL value to Google Analytics? One trigger, one tag and that's it.
