The thing about this game is that... well, everyone starts off just like Starism did. It's not meant to be this pathetic challenge masquerading as the hardest thing ever, or a sadistically impossible game for the sake of being so. What you see is the honest face value of what you get. And I was once an unskilled player like Starism, first starting out. Even Hard difficulties felt like the skill ceiling for me. But, the more you play, the more you learn, and before you even know it, you'll raise the roof of your skill ceiling immensely. I started this game around the end of 2020, and I too remember feeling roadblocked by Hard difficulty towers. But cut to just around a year or so later, I was able to beat Difficults and Challengings with minimal struggle. I had even beaten my first remorseless without any boosts. Not even daily practice -- just over time, I was able to become so much better than I thought I ever would. Yes, JToH is hard. It's meant to be hard. But that's what makes it so intrinsically rewarding to play. Not giving up against adversity, not backing down from a challenge. You'll fall, and then what? You'll get back up again. It's so hard that it's fun. You're not gonna instantly be the best JToH player ever. You gotta start with the easy stuff, find your skill ceiling, then work to raise it. And once you do? Suddenly those tough Hard towers become simple clears. To me, JToH is fun because of how it works to nurture the player's skill.
mhm this is totally true. I had such a weird jtoh still progression. I started playing late 2019 and by june of 2020 I had beaten my first sc. Then I beat togf in dec 2020 (proud of that one as you can tell by my pfp LOL) and then how long did it take me to get a new hardest? 3 years. ToGF was my hardest tower for 3 YEARS until I beat tovh. everyone progresses differently.
@@ObbiesAreVeryHard I know this comment is kinda old but progression in jtoh really starts to plateau at higher difficulties, I beat my first difficult and my first remorseless in about a 2 month span but I didn't beat my first sc until like 4 months later
As someone who has been active in the more advanced obbying community, grinding one of the hardest towers in JToH (ToGF) it is refreshing to see other players be open minded and broaden their horizons to learn that Tower of Hell is not super advanced and that there are bigger fish to fry.
I've had a really slow start to the game, but i progressed and was able to beat something like ToCR. and I love seeing new players join the game and actually give it a shot! There have been so many new players i've seen that joined, went straight to ToTS, and left, that it breaks my heart. I hope you progress faster than I did (it took me around 23 hours of grinding to beat ToH) and have an overall fun time with the game if you do end up playing it more.
I want to tell you the experience of someone who has beaten several extreme towers. The difficulty of extreme is not fun. Every single extreme tower, whether you are skilled or not, can take WEEKS or MONTHS to beat. Most people practice these jumps in a practice place, to gain techniques and strategies. Most jumps in an extreme tower require precision and focus, and you need to go through a lot to push yourself into trying your best. One of the extreme towers in this game, called the Tower of Strategic Mechanics, has a pretty chill start. But the descending/second half of the tower is a pain, and all the jumps contained in this part, failing even ONCE will send you into an unescapable pit. Forcing you to restart the tower.
Extreme difficulty is one of the funnest difficulties that i can name, if you do enjoy the towers. I LOVED The extreme grind and i think that you're just getting unlucky.
Although i wouldnt consider myself skilled I was able to beat 3 of my four extreme towers in less than a week each but I’d say terrifying is the turning point from hard to really hard and it is really demotivating at least for me to not beat a tower in less than 2 weeks which is why im still stuck in catastrophic difficulty
It’s really nice to get a new players perspective on the game itself. I first played it back in 2020 with my hardest being a terrifying difficulty. With that being so long ago I hardly remember what it was like to start new so it’s really nice to have somebody explain it. Good video overall!
8:43 just remember CoIV is shorted by 10 floors and astronomically nerfed version of Citadel of Void. A way to described how nerfed it is think of an rpg (that’s the original (Citadel of Void)) and then think of a nerf version of an rpg (that’s CoIV))
One of the only main reason that AA is not good is that its basically one of the first subrelams to drop, but at lest the future content for the further zones goes up in quality.
Not sure if anyone will read this, but the reason why the gimmick of SoMD felt so shallow was because of a last minute change. I remembered playing through this steeple in its own seperate place before it got accepted into the game. Originally, it was a choice of 5 easy floors or 1 intense floor, but for reasons beyond my knowledge, it had to be changed into the current version. I think the challenge was still kept in because the creator probably didn't want an entire floor to go to waste, and so kept it as an additional challenge on top of the 5 easy floors.
I love seeing new JToH players think that Tower of Hell and other similiar ''hard'' obbies are difficult. also ggs on ToH not many players get to even medium difficulty. Also i do have experience with the soul crushing difficulties as ive beaten 2 insane, TT and ToDC, ToDC was actually pretty easy as i beat it in 3 days as opposed to Thanos Tower, which took me 2 weeks. Goodluck on future towers, Starism!
Fun Fact: Tower of Eternal Void and Citadel of Invinite Void are meant to be combined into a 22 floor hellish abomination named Citadel of Void that is nil difficulty (above unreal), btw ToEV and CoIV were nerfed so CoV is WAAAAY harder
I loved this video, also dont worry about the time it took you to complete the towers, it took me 130 minutes to beat my first remorseless: Citadel of Scythe Recognition
As a remorseless skill level jtoh player (my hardest tower is tower of astral fusion btw), a very hard part of doing an intense or harder tower is nerve management and consistency. You also have to avoid quitting after failing very far in a tower. Grinds can take tens of hours and require quite some practice to end. Some towers are quite fun tho :)

me who made it to f4 on a soul crushing: "ok i guess"
My best f8 on a sc that im going to beat soon
Great video dude!
sorry for your loss
note: CoIV is nerfed version of CoV (also revamped ver), nobody beat this yet lmfao
4 (legit) people have beaten it already lol
I personally consider The Trusses to be the hardest game on ROBLOX.
i dont consider tiered obbies to be games. rather Challenges.
can we get a ban on ladders and trusses
4:04 i fell at this part lol
Now whos gonna tell him that SoFF is hard difficulty again?
people that play this game for fun have no emotions
guys the imp/at is out. beat tower of wicked mattress
Find the Chomiks is personally the hardest obby game I’ve ever seen
Also the tower of generation failure
tower of generation failure is inside jtoh you dumas
@@thattophatguy35422 Tower of Generation Failure is inside of jtoh LOL
find the man face morphs harder
Im a guy who plays jtoh for fun, so i usually avoid mid rem and above, but its a decent game most the time
literally showing ToSH in the thumbnail 😭
nuh uh
its a white floor
ToDaD
@@zaplane25 so ToDaD had the yellow and blue jumpscare slides and the fat floors?
@@unnevenn the tower he is stabding on is todad
@@zaplane25 that’s not what I said in my comment tho?
@@zaplane25 I said “in the thumbnail”
If u think the towers you have played are hard, search up citadel of void (which was changed to citadel of infinite void since the original was too hard being a Nil difficulty)
Also u look like Minos prime from ultra kill
He already coverd hard towers
Conclusion: Colour run is still harder 18:02
when he went to todad i remember beating it as my first challenging (IT TOOK ME 4K MINS OF PLAYTIME UHHH)
