It’s because wwe is seen as THE pro wrestling company. It’s like how the ufc is THE mma company, no other is even close, similar to wwe with wrestling. Most people that don’t watch wrestling aren’t even aware aew exists 😂

Wwe is selling out arenas and stadiums all over the world. Mercedes mone is on a show with declining tv ratings and bad ticket sales, she’s not the draw she thought she was going to be for aew. Wwe has women like Rhea ripley, Bianca Belair, Becky lynch, and bayley. Wwe is doing better now than they were when they had her. They definitely don’t need her 😂

This is gonna sound weird to say so please don’t fry me: I think she is a good wrestler and in ring personality. But, tbh after watching wrestling for over 20 years(and seeing wrestlers before), she is nowhere near the best. Sasha banks came in at a time where wwe was lacking and falling off especially in the women’s department, and she was one of the first females to kinda be a good enough wrestler to revive/revamp wrestling entertainment in the wwe for the women’s division. This is a great respectable feat, but when you look at other wrestlers/female wrestlers, she really ain’t up there. She just seems so good because she was the main solid one when everyone else was crap at the time.
She has my respect tho and I hope she finds more success cause she is talented

so u basically said, that over time, the wrestlers of today are better than the wrestlers of yesterday lmao.. yh that's life, that's how its supposed to be, what a novel concept. & even today, there's still not many better women than her.. being a very good wrestler isn't about doing flippy spots, mercedes was so in advance in her time that she still can keep up with the current generation. one of her main asset is that she can adapt to any style which not many can do, her in ring psycology is still unmatched... dont forget she has a lot of miles too.. + 10years carrer & an near end carrer injury.. she has to be smart now & doing less.

@@trondadon2527 her resume speak for itself, its not even something debatable at this point, how many moments, classic matches, feuds, she has been part of ? she delivered most of the time time with different types of opponents.etc.. even outside wwe, she was able to keep up with joshi like azm, hazuki etc.. she's one of the best north american pro wrestler . if not her who has done better.. I will not include joshi like iyo, asuka bc its obvs they are better in ring but outside of that.. u can't name many..

She's overated Bianca is better, Bayley has better mic skills, Charlotte is a legend, Becky Lynch is a absolute great story teller.......she's terrible on the mic (it's either her voice or the way she talks but she can't cut a good promo EVER) & her wrestling was good a few years ago but she's injury prone n the few classic matches she had was with Bayley who can wrestle a trash bag n make it entertaining and Bianca who is a absolute great wrestler n character, I'm glad they let her leave n grabbed someone whose sexier n stronger n is willing to learn rather than whine n cant draw a dime without WWE aka the machine behind her.......BTW she copies Gunther theme music n Roxanne Perez is gonna be twice what sasha banks was in WWE

She debuted in March and ratings/ticket sales have only declined. She also isn’t doing good merch numbers or getting a lot of media attention. There’s no objective metric to where Tony khan gets his money back from her

When WCW wanted to sign him, the requirement was that he had creative control for his storylines and then WCW cashed in with all their Hulk Hogan and NWO merchandise. What kind of merchandise sales had Sasha Banks done for WWE?
