For people saying the Savage theme doesn’t fit Silver Surfer, he was captured and enslaved with a device that stole his powers. You would have to see the comic to really make it fit. If you haven’t read it, it’s Probably the best Hulk storyline and one of the best marvel Sci fi stories ever done.
The Savage Surfer looks fantastic, GMC. The solid chrome is an excellent touch, it really gives the Surfer a realistic sheen and dynamic look to him. This statue is a definite MUST HAVE for any collector especially on the Marvel front. That Silver Surfboard next to him as his shield is just as EPIC as the rest of the statue. Great choice on this piece, GMC. AVA did a magnificent job on this custom sculpt. Great review, GMC.
Thank you for the video. I’m probably wrong but I actually think it’s hideous. Too decked out with a super busy base. Bowen’s several renditions still look the best but of course small. It’s more simple but has a classic look. This looks like terminator or some robot. Anyway congrats!

I guess I am going to have to be an outlier on this one. To me, he looks a bit silly and the savage warrior theme just does not work on the Surfer. Did he lose his cosmic powers or something? However, thanks for showing it.
That is an EPIC piece!!! I'm jelly! The open mouth portrait is amazing. You never see that with Surfer. Only nit picks would be the Mace and sword should be a little battle worn. Not a fan of the gold mace ball. Also the skulls on the base have big seams in between them and the ground. Minor stuff, still a brilliant piece!!
I really love this one. But is Silversurfer such a niche hero? I haven‘t seen a silver surfer from any of the of the mainstream manufacturers for a long time. Sideshow has two of which I know but those were from 10 years ago, i guess? I really want one but don‘t have the budget for a custom made. Would love to see a XM silversurfer in the future.

I think the idea for the portrait design the way it is was to minimize seam lines because being chrome may show the lines more. Either was excellent piece. Congrats!!
