Upapada calculation me exceptions bhi hai jaise 12 swami 12 me hi ho..ya 6th house me ho to us place se 10 aage jo sign aata hai use upapada lagna mante hai.
Lekin Maharishi Parashar ne jis tarah arudha lagna ke exceptions clear kiye hai 1st & 7th house ko lekar ..waisa upapada ke bare me nhi kaha..isliye mai apni calculation me simple rule (without exception) use karta hu..but it depends on astrologer..exceptions are also there.

Sir, UL is Aries and has Ketu. UL lord Mars in 5th house. 2nd house lord Venus in 7th house along with Rahu.
In D1(Cancer asc), 7th Lord Saturn placed in 8th house in Aquarius.
