Chalice is definitely going to be in the second season. I actually hope King Dice shows up in season 2 at least. I honestly understand it's because his voice actor has a high profile but I hope he gets more screentime

I actually think it’s a interesting concept, like the newer Mickey Disney cartoon, that explores a more “modern” kind of comedy for Mickey. I think if this was the personality of Minnie Mouse it would probably a very interesting character dynamic between Mickey and Minnie lol.

In the old days that was called a grifter, but in the modern days it's so common people see it as normal and non-criminal. It still is criminal and scammy though since she's manipulating people to give her things for nothing. It's not your fault you don't know that, modern moral codes tend to be very fucked up.
Wow, they really had me thinking she was gonna be like, the voice of reason for Cuphead and Mugman with the "you guys are nothing but trouble" line in the trailer, but it turned out *she's* the trouble.

I mean, what she's doing is wrong, but she's only doing it for stuff, not stealing important things or hurting people, and speaking of which, people still seem to really like her.
Not to mention her genuine care for Cuphead and Mugman.
I really like Ms. Chalice, she isn't perfect, and she's technically a criminal, but it's all harmless and you can tell she's genuinely nice.
I'm excited to see more from her.

@@bronyferienminuet2125 technically she’s not really “dead” what I’m guessing is that she probably has a curse that makes her able to turn into a spirit when she wants to, And if you watch the season 2 trailer she sometimes uses her curse for malicious reasons… my guess is that her curse probably has something to do with the devil but we don’t exactly know yet.

I love how they made Ms. Chalice seem like a manipulative criminal towards the brothers, but then ended up being surprisingly nice and genuine. I really thought the cookie factory test was her way of tricking the boys into doing her selfish deeds, but nope. She truly just wanted to give them cookies and even secretly helped them.
Me too. The trope "charismatic lady manipulates and uses heroes, gets them in trouble, they forgive her EVERY TIME because, OF COURSE, THEY DO" is getting old. Even though Chalice did get them in trouble, it wasn't her intention and she obviously felt bad about how it all turned out.
Yet she left behind them when things became dangerous and without her ability of transforming into a ghost Chalice would have been arrested, too.

and the subtle shadow behind outline of the characters! i represents the old way of animation (Cel animation! they would overlay glass or plastic with the character on it!)
Grey Griffin was a wise choice for this character. Can't remember the last time we've gotten a character w/ a Mid-Atlantic/'30's Brooklyn accent from her.

I love the foreshadowing they did for the dlc. The way you play as Ms. Chalice isn’t equipping a cookie charm. The song about charm, and the cookie factory were subtle enough that looking back are pretty obvious.

@@KanaIzumiya I don't think you understand. If he meant that he would have said foreshadowing for her to be in the show. But no it was already known years ago that Mrs chalice would be playable in the DLC. It was revealed back in 2019 before the show.
@@dollphunh2097 OP said that the episode with Chalice was foreshadowing. Veronica Belmonte said the obvious fact that it was released before the DLC. So I just reaffirmed the fact by saying that OP already said foreshadowing thus making Veronica's comment a bit redundant, in my opinion. The foreshadowing itself was in the episode was about the Cookie Charm, not Ms. Chalice's whole appearance.

Yeah, Grey was definitely the right choice for her voice. She gives just the right amount of "modern cartoon" voice (which makes sense since she voices many modern characters), and "Betty boop". Amazing, as always!

GOD, I honestly can’t tell if the inclusion of the cookies was a nod to the cookie charm that allows us to play as Ms, Chalice herself in the Cuphead DLC. If it’s a nod to it, it’s absolutely clever.

I just noticed something about Ms Chalice in the show.
In the show her song is called "Turning up the *charm* " and in the dlc, Ms Chalice is playable as a charm.
And they charm their way into a *cookie* factory and while she is saying "Gee, what a couple of ding-dongs" she is eating a cookie and the name of her charm in the dlc is an Astral Cookie.

It’s unlikely she’ll permanently join them since she says that she doesn’t stay in one city for that long. But it IS likely that she’ll feel guilty for leaving the brothers behind and help bust them out.
