KABAMs goal seems to be to punish into oblivion with overtuned content and AI requiring us to spend units. Rather than spending cause we genuinely enjoy the game. The new champs like Bullseye, Onslaught, Photon, and others are just not good for the game.......
Rich its not been the same for exactly 10 years. Recently the type of defenders coming through need overly specific counters and require a high skill ceiling to dex these specials, this is not healthy for the game.
So you're saying that we've always had months and months in a row with new defenders dropped that produce unavoidable damage and require a pinpoint specific counter? I don't remember that happening but I've only played for 7 years so maybe it's because I'm a noob. There is clearly a trend here between AI, content released, new champs released, and the seeming complete disregard for the ongoing input saga. They have apparently moved from a model of us willingly spending because we enjoy the game and want to acquire new champs and level them up to a model of squeezing money out of people just in order to compete in certain game modes. It's a bad model, and it will eventually kill the game if they hold this pattern

I’m the one who created this forums post and I your logic surrounding it just doesn’t make sense. Yes Kabam has always made counters for the defenders they make… but the defenders were never even close to how difficult and broken the defenders are now. It’s literally not comparable. Sasquatch and Rintrah for example, are balanced defenders with counters. There’s no way that anyone can act like past defenders are anything like the new trend of defenders. Your opinion seems super out of touch to me considering you should 100% see the difference between the new formula for defenders and the old.
The problem with Kabam is they keep adding new characters that only counter or negate recent champions, thus forcing themselves into an endless state of one upping themselves constantly. Look at characters like Onslaught and Serpent now and remember that in a few years those characters will most likely be laughably bad in comparison to whatever crackpot characters are out by then. If they made characters who could be countered by pre-existing champions this could semi dilute the issue on top of bringing relevance to some long forgotten

Its like getting stuck on the loading screen trying download something but nothing is downloading at the same time I tried reinstalling, restarting change the connection but nothing happened still the same result We all posted in kabam forum but no response from them
@@mohammedhussain6749 Photon is still a tough defender coz of her abilities. Characters like Bullseye, Dust, Serpent aren't even that tough on defence but the nodes and buffs are too much. Even Bullseye can be countered by a lot of mutants and champs with vigilance, but you still had to take bleed damage even if you dexed his attacks
I think that the recent influx of hard defenders *is* a new problem, largely because of the early access bundles, and because of Battleground. Now that Valiant players can outright purchase new champions the day that they're released, we are inundated with ascended r5 Bullseye and Serpent in Battlegrounds, with nothing that we can do about it.
Sorry for your loss. I hope you and your family find some peace. I think the champion design characteristics I hate the most, are the new ones where a champion can turn off my masteries. I worked hard to get resources to get access to those masteries. Don't rob me of them. Like this new Serpent dude who turns off dexterity. Your only option is to take a blast to the face. Lame. One of the best parts of learning new champs is to learn to dodge their specials. I still can't dodge Korg's SP1 and I've been playing for 9 years... Oh wait, they fixed it: the defenders won't throw specials no matter how much you try and bait them. They just hold until they get to SP3 and you're dead. Thanks, Kabam.
You should watch some of MSD's Korg fights, you have to pre-dex before the 1st bullet is shot to dex the SP1. But I think SPs of other champs like Joe Fixit's SP1 are un dexable. But yeah that SP3 part is true, whenever I face Wong he always uses his heavy over and over and does not use his SP2 at all
My condolences for your loss. We’ve always had tough defenders but never this many back to back Domino esq. defenders. For years we’ve had tough defenders but for example you can fight Thing with a bunch of champs it just won’t be optimal. Even Havok all you had to do is push him to sp 2 and you could get through it even though it’s not optimal. Domino and Korg were the only champs that felt like it was guaranteed damage for years. Void you just needed to count your combo, Omega Red robots, Penny hit her block hard. It’s been 7 months and we’ve gotten 1 half decent Photon counter released. In those 7 months we’ve gotten 5 more OP defenders with hardly any newly released counters. It’s too much too soon. Kabam need to take a break on these defenders that turn off masteries. That is just as game altering as a champ like Ghost or Quake being released.
If your still rocking an s8. Its time to get a new phone. I hate kabam and have been very critical of them. But the game not working on your old ass phone ia a YOU problem. Plenty of new gen affordable phones out there.
i feel like the best thing kabam can do with out nerfing the current defenders to much is to start adding more busted attackers that take skill. for example white tiger, shes not that hard to learn or use but she can be an absolute nuke in the right hands.
I think the defenders are out of control. As pointed out in the forum post, these defenders have unavoidable damage. Previously there were 3 champions that had truly unavoidable damage without a specific counter (Electro, Domino, and Attuma). The rest of the champions you could avoid damage with just skill (Korg as an example). As to your point on counters, Kabam has always been slow to release counters. Nimrod was the first Domino counter and he came 3 years after release. Captain America (Infinity War) was the first counter to unstoppable and he came 3 years after the game launched with Juggernaut (I have been playing long enough that I remember original Juggernaut who gained unstoppable on hits). How long do you think it will take Kabam to release counters? What happens if the counter isn’t successful? Iron heart, on paper, is an Onslaught counter but I don’t see anyone using her for that in battlegrounds.
The defender issue would've been manageable if kabam released them slowly and steadily with counters to them every other month.. instead they just dumped them b2b and it's a bit too much to handle...as for a permanent and feasable solution for this issue could b new masteries and achievable points to go alongside them... everyone goes home happy 🤷
When you breakdown Photon, Bullseye, Onslaught and The Serpent abilities, you can see these are champions designed to rip you off. It's not about your skill as much as before. I prefer non of the champions will touch the masteries a.k.a shut off dexterity and turn off willpower. Take Photon for starter. She is only a problem when she is in PURE LIGHT FORM (PLF). Solution? Don't let her right? Not that easy. She needs enough ELECTROMAGNETIC CHARGE (EMC) before she can turn into PLF. It is cool if she can only gain EMC from her own attack that hit you (debuff application). BUT NO!!! Your medium attack will also put a debuff on yourself which then feed into her EMC count. THat's bullshit. Even if I can bring 2 counters to block those unblockable specias (Mister Sinister & Shuri), the idea to just block a special is not ideal because you will still lose health. What kind of game that force to face an unavoidable damage other than a game has an intention to make sure you spend more money to win a particular content? Greedy KABAM and seems like they have run out of creative idea to sustain the game. Maybe it's time to bury this game. Just finish it off with style instead of with frustrating player base

It stretches all the symbols not just mutant it’s just easier to see the mutant one. Seems like a resolution issue

The S8 is like super old. Im on a S24+. No wonder they have issues
The op defenders aren’t really that big of a deal in aw because you can select counters while in bg you could just get bad champs
