Light is a natural-born genius and Koji is a man-made genius.
Light actually has emotions while Koji doesn't. Whoever wins between the two of them matters on different scenarios. In one scenario Koji solos while on the other Light solos. If light has his notebook, he'd win, no questions asked. But if he doesn't then its a whole different matter. Light can act like he has emotions towards them to manipulate them which can give him the slight edge over Ayanokoji. While Ayanokoji has the edge over him in physique. But are we gonna ignore that Light fought an international level super spy, a whole damn police department while also being friends with them, while also manipulating them. And as for Ayanokoji, he has yet to show his 100% power.
With a logical view their battle would end in a stalemate/draw.

I just think that you misunderstood Light and his intentions. Light literally said in episode one that he wants the world to know of his existence, he wanted people to know that Kira was something supernatural, a "God". The fact you don't understand this makes me think you watched death note through youtube shorts. So Light made ONE real mistake through the show. He learnt from that mistake and got better.
My sincere opinion is that Ayanokoji is absolutely buffed by statements. Yes, the author makes the statements he wants, but without vague affirmations Ayanokoji would be nerfed.

EP - ayanokoji has explained how he reads small changes in expressions and has inducted the emotions of others (ryuen horikita etc). Light has no feats in their area. EU koji has better education and knowledge on the topic of psychology. EM - no explanation needed, light cracks easily under pressure

To prove my points -
1. In the case of manipulation, light is better because he manipulated naomi, police force and many more and partially manipulated L that's why L believes that light is kira for 95%. Ayano can only able to manipulate some girls and two boys 😞.
2. Tactics - if you can remeber the death note series you know why i have given this point to light. If you still disagree, then go and watch denth note series again.
3. IQ - for you convenience, iq is all about problem solving, visualization and reasoning. And i have given this point to light becase he manage to kept hidden from world class detectives, task force and in-human L. But ayano can't even able to hide his abilities from the high schoolers when he wanted to hide his abilities. And i know that high school is best high school with smartest students but i bet there would be no one except ayano who can surpass 120 iq. Lastly, Knowledge doesn't give a shit in IQ

Ayanokoji only being able to manipulate some girls and 2 boys is funny, he was able to manipulate most of the important characters in the verse outside of Koenji. Plus you're forgetting that ANHS is chauk full of genuis students, its not some normal highschool. Manipulation might be close but IMO I have Ayanokoji higher. Mentioning Naomi is hilarious because she was killed off because of plot armor, literally stated by the mangaka. Most of the police force are famously incompetent and were only on Lights side because Soichiro was incredibly respected among the task force. His "manipulation" of L barely made a dent because L had always known that Light was Kira, even after the whole memory loss plan Light use. L still deduced that Light was probably Kira at an earlier state of time and that Kira is a position that can change between different people.
Tactics definitely go to Yagami, same with things like creativity and planning
Yagami was rarely ever hidden from L. IQ goes to Ayanokoji easily. Deductive, Inductive, and Abductive reasoning are all skills Ayanokoji is superior in. Ayanokoji when making plans almost never fail, if not never but I don't have the mental capacity to remember all of them. He considers every single possible outcome and makes counters for said outcomes based on what he observes, the environment around him, the person in question and himself.

Many things made me think Koji should win. Light firstly killed the man who mocked him on TV in front of the camera. This not only revealed that he kills without being there and he has supernatural powers, but also reduced the number of suspects from 8 billion to 2 families. If he had more emotional intelligence and calculated everything, he wouldn't have been the suspect and he would have achieved his goals. On the other hand, if it was Koji in place of Light, he would have deduced that L is thinking of doing something, so he would have ignored it. Even I thought that he shouldn't kill him on TV. The second one is when he killed Naomi Misora. My man literally said "I am Kira". This was a very wrong move. This would have ended his whole career. Think about it. Even if she is a former FBI member, she is still human. What if she burst into emotions and shout out saying "He is Kira"? The Kira investigator passing by would have caught him. It is not hard to think what will happen after that. What if she gave him a fake license? Clearly it would have been his end. It is common to use fake ID cards specially in dangerous times like that. What if L remembered her or her neighbours or family reported the disappearance or death of her? L would have easily caught him. Light is the last person to meet her. He met her in the building and met another members of the police force, so they should remember him. In case of Ayanokoji, he would have thought that and used other pawn to make her stay silence. She is very smart, but he is smarter so he would think of some strategy. Lastly, during his meeting with near, telling him he is Kira is a mistake. If he hasn't said that, after realizing the note book is fake, he would have made his pawn also write his name on it, so that he wouldn't have been caught easily. But he has better leadership and may be manipulation. His some plans were also great. He is also one of the best written characters. Therefore, we can say that Koji has higher IQ, EQ, AQ, strategy, planning, anticipation, prediction, overall intelligence, overall thinking, overall reasoning and smartness while Light takes overall SQ, manipulation, deception, cunningness, charisma. So Koji wins high difficult.
