i gasped 😮 personally i managed hundo passimian, 98% shiny oranguru + another 98% shiny oranguru + 96% shiny passimian with 16 total shinies in my small town. i managed to spin every stop in the entire place

This wasn't my best research day it took me 19 checks for shiny Passimian only a 2* but was happy to get it, Oranguru which I didn't need I managed to get one shiny from the paid timed research so overall I did 47 checks out the 2 of them combined and 1 shiny of each
Today was a great day. I got 3 shiny oranguru and passimian. Also got a shiny eevee machop and pineco. The pineco ended up being a shundo!! Also got a hundo oranguru. The pineco was my third shundo in three weeks

Your Shundo is one of the only examples of paid research being worth it. Personally, did just fine after only having an hour to really participate and no premium ticket. Caught 2 shiny oranguru back to back and 1 shiny passimian after 21 checks. Under odds, and I'll take it. Also got a shiny spinda today - research been very good to me

Congrats on the shundo there's a slight chance of rain where I live and not a lot pokestops around me and typically I never find many event field research tasks that give encounters let alone many event field research tasks for events so as much as I would like to get the shinys of the 2 pokemon featured in the research day I'm going to pass on it
A shundo for your first hundo Passimian, beyond amazing! I played less than an hour from the passenger seat of the car, did circa 10 tasks and got one shiny of each. Definitely no complaints here! 😆

Congrats on the shundo, dude! That's awesome! My kids and I had a solid day. We all got both shinies. However, we did feel like we got an abusive amount of Orangurus compared to how many Passimians. For context, I got 3 shiny Passimians and 9 shiny Orangurus, my son got 1 shiny Passimian and 6 shiny Orangurus, and my daughter got 1 shiny Passimian and 4 Orangurus (Including an XXL one). In total, we got 5 shiny Passimians and 19 Orangurus. That was the trend of our whole outing. haha. Not a bad thing, necessarily, but we all wanted the new shiny. Thankfully we all got it, but we all got way more Orangurus than we desired. haha
@@shoe8783 Congrats on your shundo, too! These events usually are the best chance to get shundos, considering the increased shiny odds and task odds of getting a hundo. One of my 4 shundos is from the Minccino research day, and technically, that was my first one. Personally, I think the research days are my favorite events, because they are much more relaxed-feeling than others. Maybe that's just me and my preference, though. :)
Got 2 shiny Oranguru (which I didn’t previously have), didn’t get the shiny Passimian. In a bonus though, while using my daily incense, I caught my second Galarian Articuno with an ultra ball (caught the first using one of my master balls). It seems easier to catch each of the Galarian birds once you’ve caught the first. I’ve caught two Galarian Moltres too (neither of which I used a master ball on). The only one I’m missing is Zapdos.
It's 10:30am EDT, so I haven't done the research day yet, so here's hoping I get some good stuff. I'm planning on hitting this arboretum in town, where I can get like 100 stops in about an hour or so of walking. I've gotten a shundo from a research there before (hello, Oddish research day) and it's where I went for Squirtle CD Classic redux, where I got a hundo sunglasses Squirtle, so maybe something good will happen? Congrats on the shundo!
