This has always been my favourite song by A-Ha. Still play it till this day!
She makes a really good point. Them Scandinavians really know how to write them songs that pulls your heart and soul. a-Ha songs to this day still brings me goosebumps and makes me emotional. They essentially became part of my childhood, and so many others will agree.
This is one of if not the best song ive ever heard! Only Take on me comes close! What an absolute belter!!!!!!

Mårten is these days 61 years old and still sings like angel!!! Love a-ha!!!!
Even 11 months ago Morten where nowhere 61, he is now 64 and turning 65 in 2024.

When I first heard this group in the late 80's, I went out and bought their CD and then brought said CD out on deployment (US Navy aircraft carrier) to listen to in my shop while working. Unbelievable stuff and while it certainly wasn't the 'mainstream' music, I went out and bought all their other albums that had been released to that point. One of my all-time favorite groups, and even now, at age 58, I still love to listen to them. By the way, even though this isn't my favorite song (Stay On These Roads is), it's still one of the ones I very much enjoy listening to from these guys.

I watched a group of schoolgirls play this last week on steel drums, they were absolutely fantastic.. and lo & behold your featuring it here.. love it. Morten had a great voice and I think they were very underrated at the time. Brilliant track 🙂

Very nice reaction... I agree, this song is amazing, my favorite from this band. They still sing and I saw so many versions of that track, all amazing. Morten has such a special voice... Love from France 🇫🇷😘
They are Norwegian... but, yes I agree... something special about Scandinavian roots in music. They are my favorite group of all time. They just came out with a new single on 8 July 2022 called I'm In. Please look for the official video on TH-cam.

A-ha is amazing - I have all 11 studio albums and has been privileged enough to see them live. They did exactly one official cover - "Crying in the Rain" by the Everly brothers (whom they had a personal connection to). Have you done any other a-ha reactions? Will need to go check! 🌹🕊
