Thank you Jenna, you're such an incredible teacher ❤ I've got your beautiful Everyday Watercolor book and companion course and they're just sublime. You're so knowledgeable and your lovely, calm and detailed teaching style is amazing. You make art accessible for everyone, thank you so much 💓
Yes, it was helpful to actually see how you made the sweeping strokes. And I especially love how the sand turned out so far, the the water making it look as if the water had rolled up and back, a wonderful thing about watercolor effects when you know what you are doing (I have to watch again to see exactly how that occurred!)
Every time you paint it's so relaxing and feels very effortless, but when I pick up the brush myself... well, heh... not that effortless 😂 But that's ok. We're all here to learn. Thank you for this video, it was very insightful. I never tried to paint a seashore in watercolor before, so now I know what to do
So lovely! It’s amazing to watch. Up close it seems kind of strange looking and the you show at a little distance and WOW! The depth and dimension is amazing!
How exciting Jenna, I received my book and have read half. This second tut is an excellent addition to last week’s. The painting is looking so amazing!, thank you for making a point of how important the sweeping motion is. ♥️
I love this. It’s fantastic how it looks when you pull your face away from it. you’re so talented and a great teacher. I just want to say that after decades of staring at Lake Superior- the horizon isn’t crisp. It’s a bit wonky from the height of the waves.
Great video! I personally find water tricky to paint. But your video made the process look so easy and doable. Thank you for sharing your watercolour knowledge with us!
Love it so beautiful just received your new book can’t wait to dive in. Lol. I have skimmed through your book. Still working through your other books too. Thank you I like the way you teach. It is very helpful.
I have a place to add comments on this video but didn’t have it on paint party. Very strange. I love your teaching and thank you so much for sharing your talents, tips and tricks.
Excellent tutorial. This may be a dumb question but what part of the brush are you touching to your paper towel to remove excess water? The tip or the body? Where there is pigment and or only water?
Great demo Jenna. What is the brand of the mottler you’re using? Couldn’t find any info below vid. Also what blue did you use for sky - was it all Prussian? TY.

Wow. Thank you! First time I've seen this technique broken down so understandably. 😊❤

Hi. What kind of brush you are using because I don't have that flat kind of brush
I just wish the sound was louder, I'm having trouble hearing you.
